RIP Wayne Wilson, my favourite race caller of all time died last night on the eve of the Straddy.
Battled cancer for 15 years, he was only 66.

Must be something in the water up there 'cos Alan Thomas is my favourite caller.
Wilson must have been looking down though 'cos Stradbroke day was a great day

Yep, A.T. is a great caller also. No one calls a race with a big field better.
Not sure if true or not but I've heard from a few people that Wayne Wilson & Alan Thomas never ever got along.

Anyways, I reckon Architect is a good thing in the last at Ipswich today.

Only trouble is I stopped at the Reepham to put the bet on 10mins before the race then ordered a beer.
Horse lost so I had another bet.
That horse lost so I ordered another beer.
Now I'm down $50 and I have the taste for Sparkling Ales and it's only 1 o'clock.
4pm and I will be smashed.
You can put money on that but it won't pay much.
