havent been there, david galpin and his horrible running of that pokerroom have turned myself and a lot of others away, and also means places like the maylands have been thriving.

New location of pokerzone is horrible, but I've been crushing since it moved in the few sessions I've put in so I can deal with it for now.

Adelaide Casino is still horrendous in terms of opening hours, rules, the competency of staff...well everything actually.
Makes me sad I don't live in Melbourne to be able to grind at crown.

Got down to just me and one other bloke for a pot of around $250.

Was pretty sure I was beat, so took my time talking with the dealer etc, then eventually he called time so I kicked the pot straight away and the other bloke folded. Pot was pushed in front of me, then the bloke who folded said he wanted it reviewed upstairs because I'd taken too long, so they took the pot back.

I had taken a long time but I checked with the dealer and when he started to count me down, I bet.

Officialdom told me I took too long, and they gave the pot to the bloke who folded.

I was removed from the table (all of whom sided with me, in fact virtually the whole room did) whilst manager after manager came to talk with me. In between security was trying to kick me out,

I'd had a few brews, but there was no bad language or anger displayed or anything, I just honestly think they didn't know what to do - Either that or the other bloke was a regular punter.

I would have thought. Ive seen plenty of people timed out before so he could have done that and I'd have had no case.

And why didn't the other player complain before he folded his hand?

Not a fan. Don't get the mugs walking past and thinking, ah, poker, I've seen that on TV then donating $200 to the table. Now it's only regulars who are actually looking for the game.
Still can make a bit in there, but nothing like it used to be.
I'm averaging 136% on buy-in over my last 20 sessions. Averaged nearly 200% in the old location.

you sure its carribean stud?

it was the same as texas holdem except you all played against the dealer.

and you could put chips on a button and fi you got a certain hand on the flop you would get a jackpot.

it was near the entrance with all the atms

Pontoon is blackjack with a couple of tweaks.

Johnno is correct in his description. And the game plays like Caribbean stud. Although it's simple and straight forward, it takes the skill of bluffing and reading your opponents out of the game. You play looser than normal and the bet limits are set up to take your money reasonably quickly if you don't get an early win or 3

I did alright at that game (Mississippi?), can't remember what it's called but yeah some form of Poker. Used to like the 3 card Poker too. Mick's right though you lose the whole bluffing element, doesn't sound right to call it Poker.

I played it at the crown once. had no idea what was going on, except that i put my money on a little circle that lit up occasionally, some cards were dealt, and then my money was taken away. occasionally i had to put more money on another little circle at which point sometimes i got that part of it back. haha
