1 game memberships lol. We played, you would probably call that buying a ticket wouldnt you?

they do offer them for people living in NSW, qld, perth etc.

http://19thman.com.au/memberships#5

i think the relevant thresholds for membership should be 11 game season ticket holders, and 3 game members

But you can have an 11 game season ticket and not be a member and vice versa.

For instance you can be a PAFC member for $75 that is, ultimately, what membership is about, being a club member and this gives you no access to matches.

You can have an 11 game season ticket and not be a member.

say again?

being a season ticket holder automatically gives you membership does it not? it certainly does for the crows.

and yep, you can buy a membership that doesnt entitle you to any games, hence why you have the three categories

Just checking into the season ticket side. I think this may have changed and does indeed include club membership.

It's been a while since I've checked any of it as my son and I are both season ticket holders and members since '97 and I've been "PAFC Forever" since the inception of that scheme where unless you change your level of commitment, the club direct debits equal monthly installments to cover your package*.

Ie - I've an adult and student 11 game Platinum ticket, and an adult and student club membership each season.

*edit*

Yes, 11 game season ticket holders are indeed entitled to members voting rights as club members.

I think its the cat & dog membership numbers (which every club probably have) that need to not be counted.

I hate to break topic, but there's rumours floating around that Dom Cassisi is about to pull the pin, either immediately or at season's end.

So, which mid-range midfielder do we chase for next season?

Those don't count to the membership tally at any club though do they?

Some clubs include digital memberships in their stats aswell. Anything less than a 11 game membership shouldnt count IMO

None I would have thought.

Time for Newton or Moore to stand up and take a spot.

But are they, or will they be, anything close to Dom's calibre?

I don't know what his contract status is like, but Tom Mitchell would be worth a look. He's a youngish bloke who, for one reason or another, isn't getting much of a run at his club, and needs a chance.

Does that sound like Ken's modus operandi to you?

Moore was being groomed for that very role.

As classy as Tom Mitchell is, I dont think port would bother enquiring about him IMO. Its pretty obvious where Port's deficiencies lie.

Of course, we also need to chase a ready-made key defender to ease the pressure on Carlile and Trengove.

But, one more opportunity-starved midfielder/half-back flanker wouldn't hurt, especially someone of Mitchell's upside.

Better than our current midfielder Mitchell! Think the asking price would be a little to high

Surely Tom Mitchell couldn't command all that much?

Really? Even though this season he hasn't done well his debut season was enough to suggest he will be a gun. Not even sure your first rounder would get it done

He's been injured (ankle), he would have come in when Hannebery got injured but Tom got injured the same weekend...
Still very young and i reckon the swans have big plans for him... But you get 60 odd touches in the reserves and can't get a gig... Probably explains were the swans are at, at the moment.
i hope we don't let go of him...

Cassisi has spent more time across half back in the last 18 months while doing the odd run-with role when needed. He's been an important old cool head in our back half and unless he's injured I'm surprised Logan is in ahead of him.

I agree that it would be Moore to come in and play the defensive role in the midfield to replace Cassisi, not sure we have someone ready to play the role in defence that he does though. Sam Colquhoun will return next year, let's hope fitter and stronger than ever. Remember he played in the side that beat Collingwood and lost to Geelong last September, he's held in very high regard.

I've got high hopes for Andrew Moore and want to see him back in the side soon too.

After 14 seasons at the elite level, 2004 Premiership player and former Port Adelaide captain Dom Cassisi will pull on his boots for the last time this weekend.

Cassisi will play one final game - against Melbourne at 12.40pm on Sunday at Adelaide Oval - giving him the opportunity to farewell the supporters who have been a fundamental part of his day-to-day life since he was drafted to Port Adelaide with pick 50 in the 2000 National Draft.

Cassisi leaves the game happy - with his career and where the club is at.

"To win a premiership and wear the captain’s number one guernsey is just such an honour," Cassisi said.

"[But] I think it’s time for me to hand the baton to the next group of young players coming through.

"I leave the game really happy and content, particularly with where the club is at right now."
