Tonights game is interesting, hard to pick a winner so not going to do that. Total is 193.5 which is too low IMO, why?

Port's defence is suspect with some players missing and some underdone. In the 3 lead up games they have conceeded 119 to Adelaide and 115 to Saint Kilda. Carlton have conceeded over 90 twice. Both teams have reasonable midfields and attacks to kick over 100 each, I think it will be a shootout with neither defence able to get on top of their opponents. I see it going over 200.

Carlton/Port Over 193.5
1.5 Units @ $1.90

I am strongly looking at that too Dutch. What are your thoughts on a Port win using the sportsbet money back special?

I like the Crows at +21.5 on Thursday night. The Crows have a lot to prove this year and I can't see the game being a blow out. The Cats look to be going in without a recognised ruckman (Blicavs), Selwood is still 50/50 and 3 other first choice players (Christensen, Motlop and Smedts) missing they will have an extra couple "kids" playing first up.

Geelong to win by 17 points.

I will be on the +21 for crows also, which is hard for me to barrack for them.
cats missing several players as mentioned, and I think crows have a fair squad on paper

I think I may go and get some jam jars for the weekend. Had a look at the fantasy scores and currently Luke Hodge is $1.87 for over 89.5 points and Bernie Vince is $1.87 for over 87.5 points.

Both are quite good options and I'll be placing 1.5units on both.

maybe we can buy some jars in bulk together ;)

Selwood doesn't change my bet that much. He is going in (semi) underdone, but there is no denying he is Geelong's ace in the pack.
