Green backline? That's what we've got/had, even in our premiership year.

He played a role. The same one as Tom Harley, also a premiership captain.
You don't get to be a premiership captain by being a spud.

Was involved in some crucial plays late in the drawn GF, I guess that will be what I remember him for. Decent enough career. Unrelated but he helps a few good causes away from the game so I respect him for that.

Wouldn't have won the premiership without his outstanding leadership skills.

Wonder if he'll do media or coaching?

already does a whole bunch with Ch7, would think he would step straight into that role, probably even for the rest of this season

Maxwell was good when his role was playing loose and being the sweeper, struggled when he had to go man on man, dont think ive hardly ever seen him win a contest one on one. Was definately a good leader

As always, the worst player debate should be prefaced by saying they're all good footy players that would dominate local leagues, and couldn't be considered "bad," but by the standard of AFL footy, they've been kissed on the old fella to play so much footy.

I'd disagree. 200 games is at least 9 years of footy and that would suggest ( at most clubs ) 2 or 3 coaches. You don't get "lucky" like that for that long if you aren't any chop at all.
PAFC. Forever.
