Yep, watch them beat you guys and then come out and get beaten by the Dogs.

Dogs are going to be a good side if they can get some KPP. Great midfield emerging there and McCartney is a top coach.

some similarities with the dogs this year to the cats of around 99

Complete domination that term, just didn't kick straight (6.8 ).

St K 17.16
Freo 9.6

Ran out of steam a bit but magnificent way to end a 3 month drought

Fair day out from Riewoldt- 30 touches, 16 marks, 4 goals. Helped that Stanley gave him a bit of assistance for a change. Look a much better backline with Fisher back.

Some bookies had the saints paying $101 for a 40+ win.

I thought everything about the build up this week for the Saints game pointed to a fairy tale upset - Lenny Hayes retirement, Riedwolt most games as captain, Freo quietly going about their business but losing Ballentyne for being a dick again.

this game is going the same way as the other 2 GWS v Geelong games, on those the margins at half time were 0 and 7 points, then Geelong smashed them in the second half.

Brian Taylor's commentary ruins games! Davis broken arm.. Calling goals before it's even made it then getting it wrong.. He's embarrassing to listen to

Half time
7-6 Port Adelaide
5-5 Melbourne

Good fight back by The Dees kicking the last few goals of the quarter
Port need to address their suspect back line after half time
I had thought pre-game that Port would only need to score 9 goals to ensure victory
Perhaps 10 or 11 wins this game

Deezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Paul Roos has made the Deezzzzzzzzz more accountable and competitive this season , compared to their recent past
Might take a season or two to get the Deezzzzz competing in finals , so gotta give Paul 2-3 years to achieve
The problem is , unless you barrack for the Deezzzzzz , its a tad boring to watch at times

Surprised it's not a sell out. Fair few empty seats by the looks on tv

I prefer this Melbourne to the one we've seen the last few years.

3/4 time
PA 8-9
ML 8-7

Melbourne got 6 points up
Wingard goal after the siren , gives Port the lead

Brave effort by Melbourne
I expect Port to run over the top of Melbourne and win by 21 points

This could be the final score
PA 13-13
ML 10-10
