Yep, back in the 2006 Elimination Final...

Rob Pyman would have been coaching South then, I think?

Damien Cupido was playing for the Panthers, as well, from memory...

I actually think people might be pleasantly surprised by the crowd on Sunday! Another perfect day, Port's AFL team on the road unlike last week, and the growing Panther bandwagon! Around 11k I'm thinking.
No Surrender!

I remember watching that final. Port leading for the first half and South ran all over them in the last 1/4. Pissed myself laughing.
Alwyn Davey ran them off their feet.

There will be a lot of neutrals supporting the raannnthers. If power win, 11000, if power lose 8000

Yep, reckon the lead got out to nearly 40 points in the first half. Cracking game of footy. Davey, Thewlis and Archard were great. I still remember the roar when South hit the front through Dale Ellis, with a large number of NA and CD supporters having filtered into the oval by then.

Up until last Saturday that game was probably the most memorable in my time supporting the club

Alot of neutral support and people wanting the Panthers to win but how many of them will actually turn up and watch?
I hope there is 15k there but judging by the Port turn out against us I cant see it happening

Fair point. I'll be there hoping that the plane from Perth to Melbourne to Adelaide is delayed by a few hours

Richmond have delisted a few, including former West Adelaide junior Bradley Helbig...

Aaron Edwards would be a good recruit for an SANFL club, looking for a key forward to regularly kick goals...

6 league directors have just voted to charter a plane direct from Perth to Adelaide at a time most convenient for the players and coach.
