Berry quoted in press release that Cosgrove been "dropped".

If he is not playing for Northerns this week, should have just said he was injured.

Reckon we have better pace bowlers than Worrall, he never seems to take wickets.

Hopefully they play Valente and Worrall is 12th man.

Good Luck to Cameron Valente.

A very good young talent with both ball and bat.
Locked horns with his old man on many occasions and if the young fella has his fathers competitive spirit he is well equipped to succeed !

Surely he has to play in front of Worrall !!

Don't think he will. Cam is a younger version of Chadd Sayers swings the ball either way. Plus he can hold a bat in the middle order if necessary. They may go with Worrall for a point of difference.

Agree with that Heater, very similar to Sayers.

Hopefully he does not need to get 60 plus wickets for several years in a row before he gets his opportunity!

Good recognition for his outstanding start to the year in Premier League and Grade cricket, but think he will be 12th man too.

What's the use of a point of difference if the bloke isn't good enough.

Cossie named for the Jets, so can't be too bad.

Valente needs to find 10-15kms somehow. Has everything else - control, variation, smarts.

Ryan Harris got himself ultra fit, stronger. Went from 125 grade gun to 140 test gun.

Well done TommyC. Ton up and a chance to take a handy first dig lead.

Fair effort from Botes as well with 6/34 off 32 and triggering a 9/80 odd collapse.

At the risk of jinxing our traditionally easily jinxed unit, we are showing good signs.

Today I watched Ludeman stand at the stumps to our opening bowler. If Worrall is in our best 11 then we have no hope. I haven't been following grade form but There has to be better options surely.

No he is a good bowler, I have never seen Worrall do anything.

I was working at the oval today but only got to see about 40 minutes play. Didn't see Chad bowl but did see his catch. Surprised to hear if indeed he did as you appear to be suggesting that he stood up to Sayers. Not sure why you would stand up to someone who swings it like Chad.

I've definitely seen him do it before - not that that says anything about either his or worrals ability :)

Great stumping but Floros can't be that bright.

I'd rather be sure on a deflection than trying to nail a hundred to one stumping.

Also stood up to the stumps in that last over of the one day cup that was tied. Putland was the bowler, Ludeman's keeping possibly saved the game despite dropping a chance kept the ball in front of him denying Tasmania the chance to sneak a run in.

I think its probably time for that discussion that the batting looks a bit thin at the moment. Botha at 6 worries me and whilst Ludemen is ok with the bat he is just ok. So what are the options, well Botha is going to play so any options that dont have him in the team are a waste of time. I would like to think Zampa will be kept and then 2 main quicks in Mennie and Sayers. Which means Worrell proabably needs to make way for an allrounder. Any thoughts?

We really need McDonald to bat at 6 and bowl, and cossie comes in at the top.
