STURT
Sturt has named a settled line-up to tackle top-placed Norwood at Peter Motley Oval on Sunday.
Key utility James Wundke and midfielder Richard O’Grady have been added to the extended interchange bench, which must be trimmed by two before the bounce.
Wundke, who measures in at 196cm and 96kg, offers Angus Kurtze some support in the ruck after collecting 30 hit-outs, 19 disposals and seven clearances in the Reserves’ last outing against the Eagles on May 31.
Former Tiger O’Grady racked up 23 disposals, 11 tackles and seven clearances for the Double Blues’ Reserves in the same contest.

League
F: Bruggemann, M. Evans, Hone
HF: Battersby, Watt, Hansen
C: Lienert, Kirkwood, Paynter
HB: Allen, Beard, Coad

NORWOOD
Norwood has named uncapped wingman Zac Richards for its clash with Sturt at Peter Motley Oval on Sunday.
A product of the Redlegs’ junior program, Richards – who measures in at 186cm and 80kg – attended last year’s AFL State Screening.
‘’He’s a good decision maker with the ball and has played good football in the Reserves for the last month,’’ Norwood coach Ben Warren said.
‘’He’s a two-sided player with good agility.’’
Warren has also included possible debutant Davin Ferreira in his 23-man squad after the pacy goalsneak booted three majors in the Reserves last round.
Key forward Michael Newton (thigh strain) is still around a month away from resuming.

Got a shocking record against the Blues so I reckon we might turn it around and win at Dog Turd Park. ;)

Predicted crowd, 5,436.

Norwood to win by 6 goals.
I don't think we were so bad against Adelaide. Maybe a couple less sloppy errors in front of their goals and ours and we could've challenged them.
Norwood should be too good though.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Hey, whatever inspires you to play better.
We prefer to think of it as the home of football but that might just be a perspective thing.

Norwood have a very good record of late against sturt I thought. The' old if we lose I have it covered' post.
On form legs by 7 plus goals . Maybe a little less if rain and their defensive boring game.

I think you may be on to something there BOTB.
Rain forecast? That should suit norwood, but should also hamper a blow out. I'll stick to my prediction of norwood by 6.
Maybe Sturt will kick 4 goals for the match if it comes down heavy. Norwood will kick about 10.

OK, let's talk some serious sh!t.

From a US site ............

Woof-woof waste does not a good fertilizer make. It is actually toxic to your lawn, causing burns and unsightly discoloring.

Beyond your grass, it has been estimated that a single gram of dog waste can contain 23 million fecal coliform bacteria, which are known to cause cramps, diarrhea, intestinal illness, and serious kidney disorders in humans. EPA even estimates that two or three days’ worth of droppings from a population of about 100 dogs would contribute enough bacteria to temporarily close a bay, and all watershed areas within 20 miles of it, to swimming and shell fishing.

Dog feces are one of the most common carriers of the following diseases:

Whipworms
Hookworms
Roundworms
Tapeworms
Parvo
Corona
Giardiasis
Salmonellosis
Cryptosporidiosis
Campylobacteriosis

Not a fetish 'Bouncy', just genuine concern for ALL player's welfare. Surely injury risks are bad enough without the threat of diseases.
Or something much, much worse. It makes you cringe to think of what some crazy or football hating vermin might leave behind.
Certainly not having a go at Sturt here. From what I can glean of the situation, it's a residents/council caused problem. But seriously,
we'd all have to agree that not having a playing surface permanently fenced off and locked is far from ideal to the point of criminality.

If the 'unthinkable' were to occur, imagine the legal 'dogfight' that would break out as finger pointing adversaries hid behind their lawyers.
Now that, my friends, would be a 'sh!t storm' to remember !
;)

Sabre.

Not a bad figure I would've thought given it's live on TV and 7's main channel at that.
