To make it easier for him to get a game:

Adelaide will be able to field a strong lineup in the Club’s first ever SANFL final, according to qualification rules set out by the League.

The SANFL Crows finished their home and away season in fourth position on the League ladder and will play Central District in the Club’s first ever SANFL final on Saturday, September 3 at Adelaide Oval.

Finals qualification rules for listed players at State League level only apply if/once Adelaide’s AFL team is eliminated from its own finals campaign. Selectors’ only restriction in Week One of the SANFL finals series will surround the 22 chosen for AFL duties the previous weekend.

Players cannot feature at SANFL level if they played AFL the previous week and the senior team is not in action on the same weekend as the SANFL side.

For example, Cam Ellis-Yolmen and Ricky Henderson were called into last Friday night's AFL clash with West Coast in Round 23. The pair therefore cannot be chosen at SANFL level for Adelaide’s first final this weekend during the AFL’s post-season bye. This ruling could also come into play if Adelaide finishes top four and won an AFL Qualifying Final.

If/once Adelaide falls out of the AFL finals race, SANFL qualification rules dictate players are only eligible for SANFL finals if they have played more SANFL matches than AFL games during the season, including three games after June 30. Development players are eligible if they have played one minor round game.

The Club can also apply for a permit for particular players in cases involving injury, suspensions or extenuating circumstances.

Qualification rules kick in immediately if/once the AFL team is eliminated from finals, meaning late changes may be required to Adelaide’s SANFL team if it plays after an AFL loss on the same weekend regardless of team selection earlier in the week.

What are the "extenuating" circumstances?

Hypocritical "inner circle" of self obsessed elites who believe they are somehow doing the right thing for the state by absolutely gutting the local competition. There is no integrity with this decision. Plainly a decision to ensure a guy stays in form just in case he is required the next week for Adelaide. A disgusting decision. It's hard to judge how this one will go.
We have never lost to the Ravens - but, now, we face them in their first final at this level.
They've finished above us, but some of their results could have been different but for player availability, so could they have finished higher on the ladder?
Will 'home-ground' advantage play a part? Or will our ability to play big grounds stifle that advantage?
Will Centrals supporters bring their (in)famous atmosphere? Yes.
Will Crows supporters turn out in droves because they've nothing better to do? #theatregoers
Will the Dogs bring their A game, or the inconsistent form, which has seen us finish fifth when there was anticipation of higher?
There are many, many variables in this game.
I'm tipping the Dogs, because that's what my heart says (and I don't want to be the side that allows the Ravens a shot at the title from fifth, let alone give them their first finals win).

Fair call. They aren't from one, particular, supporter base, though. They are buying a ticket for a venue, not a club.
There could be Centrals supporters among them, or Sturt, or South, or even Adelaide.
