Big test for us to see how much we have improved. No doubt the Bays win but a competitive game and small margin would be good

Come on Bloods. Should have had this game locked away by now. Need to make the most of opportunities when playing Glenelg @ the bay. Come on bloods. Finish it off!

Bloody hell. Class won out. No answer for Bays key forwards. Not sure what to make of the past 2 hours.

Bloods should have won that one, butchered the goals but never gave up.

Bays did just enough to come back and steal it in the end.

Special mention to the timekeeper for faarking up the end of the match.

"The best team won on the day".

That hackneyed old maxim does not apply to this game.

Not 100% sure about that Bays dead set played against 25 today

1st qtr Parnell (IIRC) in the act of possessing the football (not ducking) get called for HTB when it should have been High contact. 2nd qtr time on Beany marks it 40 out but the debutant umpire way out of position calls blocking against a Westies player. 3rd qtr a Westies player is allowed to play on from a mark - that is umpiring 101.

Yeah we made mistakes and are a work in progress but our class and effort won through in the end.

Because it looks soooooo good with black shorts.

We have previously worn for home games too against guernseys that present a clash.
