Dawson will miss tomorrow's Showdown, I can't help but feel empty when I read his name or hear him spoken of.
The moment Selwood embraced him last week still moves me.

The hug he had when Tex gave him that goal, he almost didn't want to let go.

Would have sworn that was touched. Goal umpire only 5 metres away and highly paid, highly trained. He would know better.

Have to agree but when you look at the free stats Hawthorn have had more 13/12
Can't see that being right
No one can whinge about the last free of the game, certainly there

At the time Pies had 10 and hawks 3.
Some of those were diabolical.

It's odd that a Perth team are playing on Friday night in Melbourne (i.e. 5.30 p.m. first bounce WA time).
And then we also have the two games on Saturday at Docklands, and no games at the MCG after Thursday night.

Karma at the end free the umpires tried to win it for Port
Those umpires should be sacked on the spot

Watched about half of this for want of something better to do. Thought it was a very average game, marred by over-umpiring, and port blatantly got the rub of the green.
Aliir was clearly BOG; was giving the medal to the crow bloke simply a matter of picking one of the winners?
Looking forward to the real games tomorrow.

Went to the game . An absolute shit first half. Game ruined by complete sub standard umpiring. The only person in the ground who thought that Soligo kicked a goal was that goal umpire. We need to get a players father at either end to improve things.
Again. The worst umpired professional sport in the world. Nothing comes close. The holding the man paid to Hornet possibly the worst decision in football. Hold my beer.In the back to take Mileras goal off him. Hang on, Rochelle’s throw that resulted in goal etc etc etc. Andrew Dillion getting booed a highlight
I thought Aliir was good, Crows made him look great by continuing to kick it to him. Berry had 19 tackles. Probably hard to go past.
Good beer drinking weather.
