When I was at Norwood Oval in round 9, I thought that Glenelg were not that a bad side for someone sitting in last place. Indeed they lost the match by being defensive as well as going missing in the one quarter, and some of the criticism that came from wherever (Glenelg or other clubs fans) was a bit harsh. To me, with the players Glenelg have, and a coach I rate quite highly, it was confidence that Glenelg were only missing.
Since this match Glenelg have only lost two matches, and now have cemented a finals spot. Glenelg are a dangerous side now, who can match and beat anyone on the day. Glenelg last year, I compared to us in 1998, and with the same coach, I had a feeling that this will be a better year for the Tigers.
So I say well done to Glenelg, and good luck for the rest of the year.
