Geezus, that does make sense, I'm so used to double headers and the U17s being on early. ](*,)

Not surprised by the result but the margin is a concern. I expected South to be a smokey in the 2s finals because with no league team they could basically pick their best team where as Glenelg, Centrals and North had a league team to pick first.

We'll be lucky to make the GF now with North 2s finding form...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

i could be wrong and probably am, because I was surprised a couple of others didnt get dropped back, but i guess its good they kept the same lot, better to reward those that have done the hard-yards in the 2's then the league boys going up in grade getting rewarded.......
As posted in another thread, the rules for sides with no league team in the finals are that if you have played 6 league games across the whole year, then you must play 3 out of the last 5 games of the season in the reserves to be eligible.

Pretty fair and simple. The only 'loophole' would be for those league regulars who have missed so much of the season injured, that they never reached the 6-game mark. But obviously they'd be pretty underdone anyway.
