As posted in another thread, the rules for sides with no league team in the finals are that if you have played 6 league games across the whole year, then you must play 3 out of the last 5 games of the season in the reserves to be eligible.mighty_tiger_79 wrote:i think with the league not making it its restricted mainly to those that played the last game in the 2's..............
i could be wrong and probably am, because I was surprised a couple of others didnt get dropped back, but i guess its good they kept the same lot, better to reward those that have done the hard-yards in the 2's then the league boys going up in grade getting rewarded.......

Pretty fair and simple. The only 'loophole' would be for those league regulars who have missed so much of the season injured, that they never reached the 6-game mark. But obviously they'd be pretty underdone anyway.
