both reports were an absolute joke
todd grima's was a fractionally late bump after a free was paid to another player & all it should have been was a 25 metre penalty at worst
the west player reported whose name escapes me (as i left the budget in the car) was even worse, yes it was a free for in the back as he landed on the bay player who was first to the ball but to report him for that was a disgrace
the umpiring while it didn't favour either team was disgraceful, they had no feel for the game, at one stage i witnessed one of the best marks i've seen in a long long time only for kirkby to be given a free, yes it was probably there but you must have a feel for the game, players from both sides continually looked at the umpire to see which way the free would be awarded to.........tony dey is not up to it so why do they persist with him ?frank manikas made puzzling decisions as well & the much MALinged curtis deboy was very much less conspicuous so i'd say he did ok
cameron hitchcock, i bit my lip after the port game (he got in the best players at the club & kicked 3 goals out of 9 BUT he lost every 50/50 contest that day) he is a very soft player who yes kicks goals but when a ball is on the line he pulls out & hopes the opponent makes a blue, it was very evident in the last term when the ball came out toward him on centrewing & he stopped dead & let the west player who attacked the ball gain possession of it & sent it back into attack
there maybe kids in the team but there is no 'mojo' no run, no taking risks etc etc & unless there is a shakeup at the bay we'll be very lucky to make the 5 & wouldn't do any damage if we did
westies best players i thought were (in no particular order) caire, the caruso bros, morris, willits & macreadie
well done westies, way too good after half time

Will he get weeks?
I would think he would be looking at about 2-3. Maybe more because I don't think he has a great record either.
A great record of what ? Kicking goals ?Finals wins ? Please explain ?

Just look what happened when out of their comfort zone @ alberton.

The opposition are ambushed? They're surprised to find themselves playing us at Richmond? And being put under pressure?

Can't believe how quickly Glenelg fell apart and they are really ordinary through the midfield.
And finally, the clash of the jumpers under lights was terrible. I'm certain I saw more than 1 example of players kicking to the opposition thinking they were a team-mate.

Yeah, I know the ABC Digital callers where commenting on that as well, particularly when you are positioned at the back of the grandstand.
I don't recall the player, but I certainly one moment when I had the binoculars on the play, a West player was streaming out of defence in front of the mound bar. Out of the corner of his eye, he would have seen a team-mate running toward him to sheppard the Glenelg player chasing him down from behind.
For a split second, that West playe with the ball slightly hesitated and looked about ready to go into evasive action thinking the predominantly black jumper coming at him was a Tigers player.
West maybe should wear that all read jumper they used to have when there is a clash with the Bays in future?
