I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes, first time ever a wooden spooner has beaten 1 side 3 times in a season, and the #1 reason North don't deserve to play finals.

Common theme appearing these last few weeks with sides poor kicking for goal costing them matches. One area that just hasnt got better through the years, by the sounds of it North missed some sitters.

Harms goal came from his 2nd touch.

But for wayward kicking, Sturt could have been out of site by qtr time.
But for even more wayward kicking North could have won it in the end.

3.9 in the last qtr to the Roosters and 23 scoring shots to 10 in the 2nd half.

Sounded like some strange umpiring decisions, and RPH was giving the men in white a right old spray.

Was there a Sturt report for striking Thring?

yeah true but in the last quarter 3.9 is disgraceful when you have all the momentum, cant comment on early part of match as i didnt see/hear any of that.

That is a good question for spelly...

Glenelg might have done it once. I recall in one of the spoon years the Bays beat South twice during the season. No idea if there was a South win in between, or if the second of those two sealed a run of three, as per the official footysa.com Bitch requirements.

Not sure but why wasn't Backwell reported . There was no doubt about his pathetic action. Thumped a guy in the jaw from behind and tried to make it look like a spolining attempt ? How the ump missed that is beyond me.

Wonder if the North people who were getting stuck into Bown last week for king hitting Backwell will come out and say that Backwell is a coward aswell. :?
