I'd rather Kelly than Dusty, but I wouldn't say no to both

I'd prefer Kelly aswell but his cost is too much as he isn't a FA so the Giants would demand 2 first round picks for him. Don't have to give up any picks to get Dusty

Kelly reads the play unbelievabley, his game yesterday was fantastic.

Kelly is a cracking player. Was so good Sunday against us. Would be a good get but as Jim has said inst a FA, so cost eill be huge.

The GWS football factory is churning them out and will only top up with first and second round picks in the next 2-3 years as the young blokes like Kelly shop themselves around. Seriously, the AFL created this monster and there's no end in sight to the top end talent influx. If Kelly walks, as duly noted, you'll be at least a 1st and 2nd rounder and maybe 2 x 1st rounders.

Imagine GWS lose a Kelly ( 2 x 1st rounders ) this year, maybe Whitfield or Greene next year ( potentially another 2 x 1st rounders ), so while they're losing some real talent they're just going to be rolling in 1st and 2 round picks ( most likely some future picks too ) in the next 2-3 years. Like they need more!

The Giants have put 50-80 games into these players making them more attractive to potential suitors.The only way to do so is to give them some more top end draft picks! lol....

That's my point. As long as clubs will pay market value, or overs, to lure these GWS stars away, they will continue to replenish their first round draft picks and the cycle never ends.
The AFL have *****ked up here royally with the initial concessions they were granted.
I cannot see it ever changing unless their recruiting department screw it up and draft some duds.

The AFL didn't **** up at all here. This monster is rolling along and will for sometime in an effort to grab a foothold in rugby land. However praise must got to the GWS team, they have created the monster with what the AFL provided them. Kelly leaves, bang a first and probably 2nd rounder.
Then the Academy, then another kid leaves but they have more first rounders coming through.

Off field they were also very, very smart. Hard old heads like Sheedy, Williams, Silvagni, Brogan, Cornes etc set the standard early and set the bar high.
