I remember Jackamara in full flight had kicked 30 odd goals in the first few games of the season and
Rangers played Souths? at Stamford on a Sunday everyone came out to see this freak in action
blokes from up the coast etc etc Jackamara kicked nine but Cod Murray from Rangers kicked 11?
and Rangers won his nickname was changed to Codamara for weeks afterwards

Massive crowd at Stamford that Sunday, Round 5 and both undefeated. Boyd Hogben 'kept' him to nine and got Rangers best player...

I still think of Cod as Codamarra.... :D

At my age you cant even remember the stories !
Good luck to Pete at Souths, He is keen to become a senior coach and his opportunities
at TFC with Carl being there were next to nil.
The boys are both good footballers with Sean looking at going to Adelaide next year.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

How'd the cricket go lads?
Waybacks made 246 (Scooby 97) and rolled Tasman for about 120 (Gooder 39, WAD 5/40)

Toddies made just over 200 SES made them 7 down. Toddies B Grade made 25 SES were pretty quick to knock them off. The rebuilding continues.

With cain Ackland retiring at North Adelaide will he come home and coach Rangers ?
He would only be 29 /30 and would certainly give the Magpies a lift.
