Good crowd and money for the club. Players stayed around after for some late dinner and a few beers and was a complete success

BullshiteIt was a bloody horrible day.. especially in that rubble you call a visitors changeroom, it was disgusting. It was raining so hard that by the B grade game there was a massive pool of water in the change room and it stank like mould. Not to mention running around in mud up to my friggin knees and nearly going AOT on about 4 occasions trying to walk from the Coaches box to the change room. End of rant

I was offered a position out at Modbury this year but turned it down and said under no circumstances would I work in those changerooms.
But yes Blues08, there were plenty of people around despite the weather and you guys did well out of the day. I just wish I was in a better frame of mind to enjoy it more![]()
Modbury is supposed to return the favour this year when we get our lights.

I sympathise with you FC but new changerooms i believe are in the plans of the near future. I have played at league ovals(prospect Oval) which was worse than Modbury as far as water in the rooms to the extent you had to put your socks and boots on outside ontop of the wall. please not the home rooms arnt much better. But we do with what we have hahaha
IM sure Modbury would jump at the chance to return the favour.

Everyone in Div 3 get on board the triple-header bandwagon!

Fitzroy will always look to play Triple Headers where possible- it's generally our opponents who knock it back (if they do).

If we're not, it's because you guys knocked it back- but I believe it's a goer anyway...
