If not bearing resemblance to test cricket is your sole criteria then 50 over cricket isn't a form or cricket either
20-20 is just a faster paced 50 over game and will one day replace it as the sole short form of the game IMO

Yep, I'm happy for them to call it 20/20, but not 20/20 cricket.
My favourite forms of cricket in order:
1 - Test Cricket
2 - Sheffield Shield
3 - 2 day Grade cricket
4 - 2 day ATCA cricket
