Dizzy, Rofe, Cosgrove, or Harris should have been bowling. Too often Boof goes to the slower bowlers (Cullen, Bailey or himself) to wrap up the tail, and always take a while to get the final wicket. Happened against Tasmania as well.
Looked like Elliott got a good ball early on in his innings and it took his wicket. Can't hold it against him. Doesn't matter how good or bad your form is, get a good ball early on and your in trouble, ala Ponting in Perth.

What your trying to say PAFC is that ELLIOTT has been getting good balls in the
pura cup for 2 years non stop![]()
Pura Cup attacks have made him look silly for too long now
Not one 100 for SA in the longer form
His 2 x 100s this year were against attacks without thier regular opening bowling attacks
in the o/d format.
ELLIOTT has proven me wrong in the o/d games.
But he needs big runs vrs good bowlers before I will say I am completely wrong

There was a report on Fox last night that the SACA has attached the team through the media
Apparently the SACA have raised questions in regards to Boof's Captaincy, also stating this will be Boof's last year as Captain
In addition there is concerns on the off field leadership and discipline of the side.
This has apparently put a wedge between the SACA and the players
If true I am expecting a big shape up at the end of the year
Do you have any news on this story

We need to look at not just performances but other indicators, a talented squad alone want get us to the top, you also need leadership, discipline, the right approach to the game and to training
I'm not close enough to the scene, I know we all talk about Cosgroves weight, but shite, I think this is a result or an output of his attitude to the game, to training and where he wants to take his cricket
Cossy, needs to take this on board and make the sacrafices required at this level, but secondly Rod Marsh, Wayne Phillips and the SACA need to develop an environment where we don't rely on talent alone
Talent alone does not get you to the top,
Talent and desire will, the SACA need to ensure we have the right environment to enable these talented cricketeres to develop the right technique, disciplines and attiutudes towards the game to ensure personal and team success
I was blown away that Blewett is on a $260k SACA contract, if you demand this type of money, you need to earn every $$$ in every aspect of the game, preperation, training, playing, leardership

I've seen both the NSW and Qld teams prepare for the summer and train during the summer
and I can't help to think that f Cossy was playing for either of these states he would be in an entirely different physical condition
