Would be pretty inconsistent if your giving red cards based on how big a game it is!

Thats the problem. It isnt a red card every day of the week. Only some weeks when its against certain teams. Hardly clipped him wih ine boot yet Ive seen two feet connect wih shins only given a yellow or less.
Consistency and the same rules for all clubs might make soccer a reputable game, even sport.
Thank christ for real football that only very rarely has games decided by inconsistent decisions due to the nature of the sport.

I dont think Adebayor can complain, because technically as I said the decision is correct, but given the mood, moment and intent, I dont think it was a great call.
Oh well, Bully will like Howard again

Really I must be smashed every time I watch football, nearly every single time I see a player leap in the air double footed studs up miss the ball it's a red.
Granted there's inconsistency with yellows and second yellows
