I see Rafa is interested in bringing Tuncay to Anfield from Middlesborough. He'll definitely stay in the EPL one would think after being the sole shining light at the Riverside this term. I wouldn't mind seeing him at Anfield, every time I've seen Middlesborough he's impressed me. Probably not the big name signing most LFC fans would like to see, but Rafa knows his stuff.

Local rag reported Burnley had / was going to approach Man U with a view to taking Campbell on a year long loan. £6m seems a good bit of business for Man U if the rumour is true.

The only way Owen will remain on current wages is if he plays in the Championship next year and fleeces the Geordies.

He'll be taking a paycut wherever else he goes.

Is he not out of contact this summer?

Speaking of Toon   Oberfemi Martins has reportedly rulled out a move in the summer, saying he wants to stay at Newcastle and see out his contract. I bet that statement had Ashley jumping for joy

And................Ashley has reportedly put Toon on the market for aknock down price of £100m Whilst that might look like a good deal, comapered to the £460m he was aking ealier this year and compared to the £260m he paid for the club, before any of your happy poster consider taking a punt on Toon, ask yourselves why it's only £100m. Huge debts and a crippling wages bill that will dwarf the £12m a year parachute payments they will get for taking the drop.

Newcastle are ducked, really, really ducked, ;)

HUNT WANTS OUT OF READING

Reading midfielder Stephen Hunt is seeking a move away from the Madesjki Stadium.

The Republic of Ireland international's future was the subject of conjecture in the winter transfer window, with the midfielder keen to move to the Premier League.

Hunt, though, opted to sign a new contract with the Royals, but the club ultimately failed to gain promotion from the Championship.

Media reports claim Everton are lining up an offer for Hunt and the 27-year-old intends to seal a transfer away from Reading this summer.

He told Sky Sports News: "My own situation is that I am happy at Reading, but in terms of my future, I've been loyal to Reading, maybe a fresh start would be good for me and the club.

"I think me

Here's the Campbell confirmation DA. Accepted but not quite the done deal yet.

CAMPBELL FOCUSED ON FOOTBALL

Fraizer Campbell's father insists his son is focused on helping England win the European Under-21 Championship, not his future.

The 21-year-old, who has had a £6million bid from Hull City accepted by Manchester United, is currently preparing for this summer's tournament in Sweden.

Campbell, who spent last season with Spurs, enjoyed a successful loan spell with The Tigers in the 2007/08 campaign scoring 15 Championship goals in 34 appearances.

Nope Bulldog this is all good. Edgar Davids Mk2 but this time a forward. The transfer fee of about 1.5 mil is worth the risk.
