Thought the boxing exhibition was pretty good too off the ball. Your bloke threw the biggest haymaker, lucky our bloke was going down already otherwise it could have been good night. Heard he is a boxing champion or something like that?

you playing c grade now mate

Haha mate, was sitting back watching getting ready for the pantsing we received in the B's. I don't go down, I just get my cheek bone broken and hobble off the ground.....

Oh ok so they had all three games on at the same ground, what time the c's start 9-9:30 ish

C's kick off at about 10:15 if I remember correctly. Incredibly early for a weekend. I think our guys may have a 5:15 game coming up in the next couple weeks....

He is fine

I thought a red card was a visit to the tribunal on Wednesday? or can umpires now hand out suspensions?

You can agree to take a suspension or take your chance at headquarters. If it is like it sounds 1 week would be better than 3 or 4 weeks.

Some clubs struggle to find club umpires, plympton has an acredited one within its midst but chooses to use a league appointed one!

I think sometimes those appointed umpires need to remember they are umpiring div5 c grade and for the sake of the game need to let a few of the little things go otherwise the game ends up being very stop start in nature which can b frustrating for players and spectators.

Other then that i think the league appointed umpire for BL last weekend against Plympton was probably better then our club appointed umpire would have been.

Don't know... other clubs have asked that umpire if he is available, he umpired for portland last week and kenilworth have cottoned on to the fact that he's being wasted and they have asked him to do the b grade there i'm told.
