we've had them twice, the 1st time they was very average... 2nd time they were pretty good... they umpired the A's later that day... we've got another appointed for this week...

Some clubs struggle to find club umpires, plympton has an acredited one within its midst but chooses to use a league appointed one!

Backwards!

no arguments here... Do you think that umpire would be keen if the powers that be could organise something???

well there's a game at Hope Valley at 1015 if that person is keen... However the powers that be need to know asap.. to try and reverse the request for the SAAFL umpire???
The "powers that be" are well aware that they have an umpire at thier disposal... the ump in question is pretty disapointed that he isn't asked before the club spends more money on an SAAFL appointed one, and may take up kenilworths offer this week.

We had one v North Haven. First and only time this year i reckon

Our C's have only had the one against HV. Damien Lennard, one of the young lads does it and all I can say is I'm lucky I don't play C grade. He's terrible.

Captain Kankles couldnt fight his way out of a wet paper bag let alone give a haymaker. I think your pretty safe. My bet he wont recognize you till after the game when he has a beer in his hand, thats when things make sense ;)
