entertaining of you go for hope valley... :(

Whats going on down at the kennel. Plympton are really struggling by the looks of it. The side on paper is a gun side but the results arent going your way. Whats Symo been saying. I guess Rats, Jimmy and a few boys going overseas didnt help and veenvliet and hibberd getting injured hasnt helped either but you would have the depth to cover them considering the b's have won the last 2 flags. its just strange as you have been in the last 2 prelims and the side you have assembled this year is way better and would push alot of div 4 teams. Its just strange that you havnt got the results the club would be expecting.

Some home truths were aired after the game by symo but weather it sinks in or not only time will tell, have had injuries to key players which hasnt helped but every club can use that excuse so next week we will see how the playing group responds. Have heard j smith and Hibberd maybe back from injury next week which would bring some much needed experience out on the field.

you seriously can't be bagging our umpire!!!! someone is throwing stones in a certain glass house....
not at all saying ours is the best or anything.... how bout one of our players who pretty much got put into a head lock then gets pinged for holding the ball just before half time!! Disgrace!!! Don't even get me started on your c grade umpire.... no protection for the ball carrier and the only positive is was he was consistantly bad for both sides sorta....

Great win by the lads. We came out today played 4 quarters of tough hard footy we was great for us. We've been competitive all year and to get our 1st win today was excellent. To have 21 contributers was excellent for us aswell.

Heard Elizabeth rested a couple of their better players, which also helped our cause.

We adjusted to and handled the wet and slippery conditions well, got to the footy first, won it and used it really well. The umpires were again very poor. One in particular was very bad.

Also great win by the C grade that's their first game of the year aswell.

competitive north haven all year hardly. elizabeth resting guys this game doubt it, why would they when they are playing for a top 5 spot

Never one to blame injuries but we hav had a bad run in last few weeks and we can add a couple more after this week. affected all 3 grades. And in the sorta weather we played in yesterday, any side could have won as easily as the other.
Well done to North Haven, i heard the 2 wins were heavily celebrated

Wet weather is good for evening teams out. I know when the B grade was selected for BL on Thursday we were a little concerned that with all of the injuries we have this week that we were going to struggle. Combine this with a couple of guys pulling out on the morning so confidence wasnt sky high but i feel the weather helped keep us in the game and more then happy to get away with a 2 point win on my birthday! Well done to Masha and Dave Kreig standing up in the ruck with both of our regular ruckmen being out injured and well done to Luke Nelson and Jason O'Riley for playing two games expecially Luke who seems to be finding some form again.

Well done to havens. Played much better wet weather footy. Definately first to the ball. Umpires were beyond a disgrace. My opponent couldn't believe how much they were getting looked after!! Somethings seriously wrong wen players have to make that call. Havens really wanted the win and it showed. We were pathetic and undermanned but who isn't at stages during the year. Halliday, Rogers, Ryan Allen, Ronny lee, Keith Thomas, woodlands, Switala all missing plus Scott Evans broke his hand early. Please football gods, we need a break. :)

great win for the hounds yesterday. Very good all round team effort esp with olsen out for half the match and a couple of late withdrawals on sat morning (thought it would be a rare occasion to have basically a full strength team). havn't beated brahma away for a couple of years and the past couple of years, although coming close to the top teams in the minor rounds we never recorded wins which has cost us top 3 spots. Bellman took about 20marks floating around in defence. Think Brahma missed a couple of players who werent playing for them.

Plympton away this week which will be another hard match.

Yeah we adapted well to the conditions. A few of the guys after the game said they couldn't believe the umpires were on our side for once, it was the first time in a long time. Good to see Captain Australia make a correct call for once :D. Missing all them players doesn't help your cause

indeed catch, lutheran too good yesterday. our start was good then micky emmett came and had a yack and we went backwards from there, thanks mick :)
i'm sure the water boys were harmless, nonetheless shouldn't be verballing oppostion players.
super p!ssed off with the discussion i had with the umps after the game. the one who sent our player off said he told one of our players that he could be replaced. that was useful, would have been a better idea to tell me as i was the interchange steward. he just said #15 red card reported for striking. rule book says no replacement for 10 minutes which is what has happened every other time i've seen a red card. proceeded to cane us with the next half dozen decisions as well.

generally only one player gets reported.
sprysie never steps away from a contest and one of our most courageous players when it comes to the crunch.
