I thought 2500-3000 but it was a little difficult to estimate as we don't know how many were in all those cars parked around the ground, especially if they stayed in them out of the weather all day ;) Well done to all the volunteers at the Mannum Roos Footy Club-an excellent day only spoilt by the weather and the result :?

Bonus points if your full back sauntered forwards and dobbed a lazy goal 8)

Well played Bloods, but no need for despair yet for Sturt supporters. Still too many undisciplined acts, but that was a vastly better performance than the one against Port. The third quarter was very strong and set themselves up for a chance at it in the last. Best game I've seen John Hinge play for the Blues. Don't like to pick on individual players, but that's the second week in a row that Sturt's forward efforts have been sabotaged by Tristan Gum trying to do the fancy thing with his kicks rather than the direct easy orthodox disposal.

Thurstans and Vassal were big outs however both are less than fit carrying injuries that next weeks bye should help recovery immensely

Sturt should and will re group; at this stage it's all about getting better odds for the finals still a long way to go

Judging by smithy's photos from the game its hard to believe 3000 people were there.
Were they all bunched in one spot?

Certaintly wasn't the most attractive games I've ever seen but it was also very enjoyable.

Definitely gutsy. I thought we were gone when sturt kicked the first couple of goals within a couple of minutes to start the last quarter.

Couldn't believe how gutsy Piasente, Ezard, Rowe, Birss, Davies, Fielke, Fisher, the 2 Caruso's and Bennett were in the last 15 minutes with their persistent diving on the ball and making sure it wasn't getting anywhere. Also well done as well to the guys who didn't allow a 2nd man up for sturt to thump the ball clear of the congestion.

Also well done to the Mannum Football Club on a fantastic day. Ground was sensational and the pasties were beautiful. Hopefully the country games become a regular part of the fixture.

Would have to go down as one of the best wins I have ever seen.

Didn't Silvester have that hit in the 80's? Mighty Real, wasn't it?
