whats that tipping contest then bussy - is it as good as the saafl one. this one has tips and prizes for clubs etc, etc

The Prizes and Tipping Contest are in the Footy Budget not the bloody Amateur League stuff - which idiot told you that. Hardly likely that the Thebby boys would come up with something like that is it

am sure the saafl staff and executive know better than the left wing radicals who only pick apart every litttle mistake made by the men put in charge of the league. if they could do better then perhaps they should stick there hands up for elections as mark asked for

Sorry to drag this one back up but Tuesday's front page made me grimace. First paragraph of the front page states that Flinders Park beat Athesltone for the first time since the late 80's! Quite a good story if it were true. Flinders Park actually beat Athelstone by 3 points 13.12 to 13.9 in 2002. Let's not get the facts in the way of a good story though, least not on the front page.

Flinders Park 2.3 6.6 9.10 13.12 (90)
Athelstone 3.0 7.3 10.7 13.9 (87)
Best - A.Tomich, S.Wagener, A.Pierri, A.Westergreen, J.Duigan
Goals - A.Pierri 8, M.Ashmore, K.Hopper, L.Stewart, J.Millar, B.Woodroofe

Man, was that an earthquake!!!

Once again some one doesn't check his facts. Thats why they write for us and not the AFL or SANFL!!!

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

First name basis with "mark" are we? Let's just remember the left wing radicals motivation for picking things apart are completely different than the men in charge. One sector is doing it for the love of his club and football in general and one is doing it to increase the quality of steak he can put on the table for his family. I know which one I'd be trusting.

Glad to see the research standard is still on fire, apparently we beat Henley by a goal and then a 44 point win on the weekend over TTG, now the Henley result is spot on........... but the fact we play TTG this week, i find it hard to work out how we beat them last week by 44 points??????

It is a pre-requisite of the editor that there are at least 2 "cock-ups" per edition.
The next challenge is for you to find the second one!

Is it the headline "MacGregor kicks seven and is out for seven" and then he proceeds to say that he's gone away for the next 9 weeks?

If he flew out on Saturday night 29th May and flew in 31st of July in the morning he could still play and only miss 7 games but be away for 9 weeks. :D
