to major round eligibility.
(c) If a SANFL Under 18 player played for his Member Club when such player’s SANFL club
had a bye round, this match shall not be included as a game in eligibility for
participating in the major round. (Under 17/18 Divisions exempted)

Hey Bubba i think a permit can be applied for in the case that you have been injured for majority of year and have played less than the 4 games. Will be up for the SAAFL to grant a permit or not.
34.5 A Member Club may make an application to the Permit Committee for any player who is
not eligible in accordance with these rules.
34.6 An application made pursuant to Clause 34.5 must be before The League not later than 12
noon two days preceding the day on which the player seeking the permit desires to play
34.6.1 The Permit Committee shall consider such application.

I believe that is correct Bubba
if you cant play the 4 games required then an application for permit is required, stating why you require it.

Would like to know from the Portland lads how J. Wareing faired on Saturday. From all reports he was very happy with his performance the week before kicking 4, and was very very happy with being described as a "Superstar forward" in the budget.
Apparently he was that happy with his own efforts that he was sounding out the possibility of getting a manager to assist with all the calls he has been receiving from interested AFL clubs as he was going to dominate D3 for the rest of the year.
They are straight to their word, they don't talk a lot of smoke and mirrors behind windows.

he has cancelled his manager and put his plans of relocating to the gold coast on hold as he only played the first 10 mins of the weekends game, i think you will find he wasnt overly happy with his write up in the budget as he was called a small forward were he seems to think he should be classes as a key/power forwards ;)

This has been going on for a long time now. Not just now that he has finally found some form. He has been training with a former gun forward during the week and it has paid off signifficantly. Reports are that the bloke that was helping him out is ready to come back AGAIN. Thus meaning Wareing is a little anxious about the whole thing. The whole superstar forward thing was a direct result of the training.
He did fair well on the weekend but thought his job was done and retired to the bench with a HAMMY strain :^o :-? so the other lads took charge after he did everything to get them in to the position they were in. Much like the week previous. Now the AT is back and in better form there will be no need to ask of such questions

More word is he has several different names on here and this sounds like one of them. ;)

Injured or did his body finally give way to the weight of his massive head he was getting?

i think his bottom half of his body is well and truelly heavy enough to support his head,
i believe as he is quite heavily under the thumb, his wife has told him he is no longer aloud to play and ripped him off the oval, hang on a second i thought we were talking about marbles, no i think jarrods AIDS started to flair up a bit

That was my next question, to see how the two worked together in the forward 50 (Wareing/Thorton) Whispers are that Wareing is not at all happy about Randy Orton coming back into the mix and occupying his space up forward. Any truth that Wareing may put all his cards on the table and tell the club its either him or Thorton.
