GDP FRI/SAT 29 & 30/12/2006

Postby bayman » Thu Dec 28, 2006 6:49 pm

GDP FRIDAY,
r1 1,3,7,8 with main multi hopes to 4,6 while the rest are all capable of running into a hole with the right run
r2 a dead set quinella 9,10 with a leaning to 9 (10 just not quite right i believe) main t'f chances to 5,6,8
r3 chances 1(watch market but generally needs a run), 3(likely leader & go close),4,7,9 i again think 7 is an e/w special after its good win at victor
r4 9 a clear top pick (rated 4/5),with a host of chances 1,2,3,5,6,7,10
r5 chances 2,4,6,7,9,11,12 the 7 will be favourite but i like at big odds 6 e/w
r6 small field the winner will come from 1,2,3 while 5 could split that trifecta probably the safest bet would be 1 place
r7 chances 1,5,6,7 the last time 1 drew 1 it galloped so be cautious but i like 7 e/w it shouldn't miss money
r8 chances 3,4,5 (the 3 beat jet lane 3 starts back & thats good form for this),while for t'f 2,6 could be placed
suggested bet(s)
r2 no 9 place
r3 no 7 e/w
r5 no6 e/w
r7 no 7 e/w

gdp sat,
r1 chances 2,3,4,5,7 2 e/w at good odds is a good bet despite the driver
r2 chances 1,2,7,9 next best 5, 7 is the best horse & hard to beat but i like 2 e/w this is ready to win & will lead
r3 chances 2,4,8,9
r4 two main chances 4,5 with multi hopes to 1,8,9
r5 chances 1,3,4,5,7 with 1 an e/w special
r6 top picks 1,4 while next best 7,8 with a ? on 3 i dont know it so it may pay to watch market
r7 1 who went well at victor e/w from 5,6,8,11
r8 the two first starters in aust hold the key 8,9 of the 'locals' 6,7 could be placed i believe that 9 who is named after the grub goes well & if this is right it'll win as the rest is no good
r9 chances 4,6,8,9 (only throw in 9 if its silly odds)
r10 1 an e/w special other chances 3,4,8,9

suggested bet(s)
r1 no2 e/w
r2 no2 e/w
r5 no1 e/w
r8 no9 win (on spec)
r10no1 e/w

good luck on the punt

LATE MAL
-----------

Ive noticed that fri/sat night fields have been reversed.
Fri night fields are superior.
Try and pick some winners before the Intermurderions start.

R2-9 PINEY RANGER [$3-20] good EW bet, be in finish
R6--1+2 quins + exactas 2 leads 1 sits, 2 TYPICAL JASPER the one to beat of the two
R8--4-5-6 boxed quinellas /exactas

RACE 7
--------

R7-1 SKY KING as BAYMAN mentioned it is a risky proposition from box 1
the driver Tina Mcveigh does not steer to well.
IF IT HAD A GOOD DRIVER I WOULD DECLARE IT AS A LATE MAL SPECIAL.
I suggest watch your TV monitors closely, if it jumps slam it late with bookies or tote
if you dont get on , let it be, if you get on when leading its about a $1-70 chance.

Good luck before the Intergarbageion races start next week
GOOD HORSES BUT VERY VERY VERY POOR BETTING RACES

Some good racing in the heats.

WINFORU wins in track record time first heat 1-57-7 whoooooooooosh

2nd heat the champ ROBIN HOOD outside the leader grabs the leader
and and and TOE TAPER the $18 bolter gets the sprint lane and wins.
Dontja hate it.
ROBIN HOOD has been spectacularly backed to win the series and once
again a champ gets nutted by the bludge lane.
ROBIN HOOD had a tough run, gee I hope its ok for the next heat in 5 days time :!:

PUNITAB was at its best in this heat
BLACKS A FAKE the $1-70 fav, misses a place + was paying $1-00 the place
ROBIN HOOD the $2-70 2nd fav also paid $1-00 the place.
2 horses paying $1-00 a place in the same race, bullshit.
On Supertab they pay $1-04 a place.

Earlier tonight the Sires Classic was won by the 3yo champ LOMBO POCKET WATCH.
Punitab dividends you guessed it $1-00 the win $1-00 the place

3 odds on favourites in the pacing heats all unplaced !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SWEET FAME injured + retired
SCRUFFY MURPHY injured unlikely to come to Adelaide

mal says piney ranger poorly driven but i disagree it is a tough horse if it let the juggernaut go past him it couldn't win by outsprinting him so he went first & tried to out tough him but just failed, no mal top drive but got beaten by a better horse & i did tell you they WOULD RUN THE QUINELLA have a look at my post about poor drive that won now that was a poor drive
