INTERDOMURDERMINION

Postby mal » Fri Dec 29, 2006 2:27 pm

Well its that time of the year when all the champs line up for the
most prestigious harness racing races.
It will good to WATCH the Interdomjokeminion racing.
I certainly wont be betting on them and no true proffessional should
bet on these races.
BAYMAN + SCD will give their expert previews, but I will call them genuises
if they keep up thier strike rates.

MURDEROUS HEATS + FINAL
---------------------------------

Tonight the first heats will begin at Moonee Valley with 3 pacers races + 2 trotters races.
They then all come over to Adelaide for the next heats on Wednesday.
Spare a thought for the poor horseys.
Most I assume will drive over for the heats, the weather forecast is for 30-40 degree days
YES THEY RUN FRIDAY NIGHT, GET DRIVEN OVER MON/TUES IN THE HEAT AND RUN AT GDP
ON THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT.
Thats a disgrace and an indictment on the industry.
The best horses race 4 times in 15 days in 2 different states and in high temperatures.
Yeah right and the best horse is supposed to win.

BAYMAN SCD PUNTERS PREVIEWS
----------------------------------------

These 2 superb judges of equine form will be challenged with the most insurmountable
previewing and tipping.
Consider the inequities presented.
SOME HORSES FIRST LOOK AT GDP
4 HEATS IN 15 DAYS
5 DAY BREAK + TRAVELLING BETWEEN HEATS 1 + 2
DURING THE HEATS WHICH HORSES WILL DRIVEN QUIETLY BECAUSE OF FITNESS ISSUES
LINING UP INTERSTATE HORSES FORM
WHICH HORSES ARE FIT AFTER ROUND 1
HOT WEATHER
ETC ETC

BAYMAN will now find out what its like to preview greyhound races
4 times in 2 weeks, good luck knowing which nags are fit and firing.

BOOKMAKERS
-------------------

They will not be a great guide.
Having talked to a couple of market assessors in the last campaign at GDP, they told
me making markets is raffertys rules.
They both were concerned with the fitness and durability of the horses.
Both suggested horses get driven to qualify DIFFERENTLY to be fit after all the heats.

MALS VIEW
-------------

Great nags, horrendous racing conditions.
I wont bother betting on the InterMURDERminion.

give up mal you have no idea on this issue some horses WILL HANDLE IT & SOME HORSES WONT the cardinal rule is forget the enzedders come final night if they've had torrid runs in the heats they dont back up as well as the aussie tougher horses last night was easy karloo mick place, make me smile place (i thought it'd be behind the leader but still collected) & smooth cruiser

the inter is EASY as all/most of the heats are even so you need horses on the fence as proven last night, it'll be the same on wednesday & so on
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

give up mal you have no idea on this issue some horses WILL HANDLE IT &
SOME HORSES WONT.................

Trouble is BAYMAN I havent the time to ring up every trainer of every horse
to see how the horses pulled up, and then ask if the horses are dehydrated from
being driven over the next couple of days
And neither do you so get your hand off it.
Your the best form anaylist on this website by a long long way.

But dont pretend to be a vet or a freight expert, or an expert on NZ and interstate horses.
You are a genuis at GDP and I read your posts, cheat of you and then put up a LATE MAL.

One last point
90-98% of these horses would never race 4 times in 15 days norMALly.
I guess if the pacers final was worth $10,000 instead of $500,000 .....the training
methods would change....

i think being an inter you'd have to get there earlier than the 4.30 suggested to get in for free, while not only do you get a salad bar downstairs you also get the vegies to choose from as well, & mal it'd be a full size schnitzel cut in half  for $12.00 or maybe i could get the kids schnitzel & just eat the vegies & salad bar myself for 'free'

Now that I'm back up and running - i'll have a preview up for tomorrow by the time the races come around..

for the record Mal - I was going to go to Geelong on Sunday night for the twilight meeting.. looked at the $25 entry fee (with no fireworks - just a band) and went back to Crown and invested my money there.. (didn't do too bad, but should have backed a horse named after my boy @ $18 and didn't - not happy) so the $20 for interdom final night is nothing.... but the food packages are a joke and I wouldn't eat there if I was any of you guys!!

Incredible timing with your post on "I wouldnt eat there.......

Taxirobbie, Bayman, and I dropped into GDP this arvo after Gawler Doggys.
We stayed and The other 2 ate meals there.
Bayman had a Beef Parmy for $12 and was satisfield.
Taxirobbie had a mixed grill for $16...2 pieces of bacon/steak/2 sausages/
chips/tomato/salad, bit expensive but nevertheless he got into it.
Half way through the meal out crawled a FLY from underneath his steak.
In one of the most courageous performances seen in the history of planet earth,
the fly against insurmountable odds staggered out of the plate before collapsing
on the table.
The fly amazingly crawled to the edge of the table with tremendous courage and
was clinging to life after appearing charred and burnt.
The fly got to the edge of the table and it was one of the most distressing sights
you could ever see, the fly in agony could not fly off the table.
I did the only humane thing left to do, I got a tissue and crushed the poor fly to death.
By this time Taxirobbie chucked into a bin.
This incident cost a FLY its life.
We called a staff member over[well known to us and a great person] + told him of
this gut wrenching incident.
His comment was
" What do you want me to do give the FLY a funeral."
BAYMAN + I have never laughed so much on a racecourse.

Taxirobbie prob invested about $500 on the tote[about $50 commision for the club]
Bought rounds of drinks
Ordered a meal
We estimate he was worth about $70 profit for the club.
AND HE DID NOT GET A REFUND.

SCD this happened 24 hours before the $210 packages for food and entry !!!!!!!!!

As for the FLY I came up with this formula

bacon $1
steak $3
sausages $1
chips $1
tomato $0-50
gravy $0-50
chop $1
salad $2

total $9
the FLY must have retailed for $7

Globe Derobbery Park.

yeah Mal, this backs up your arguement

The horse was given some biocharb something :?: due to it being dehydrated after the trip over from Melbourne, obviously concerned with the quick back up...it was well over the limit allowed so stewards scratched it...
