$51 for the place a couple of weeks ago il take that :) to be honest I still think he is good value! At $9 with possibly 6 best ons, and other polling games, he is still good odds! His year is similar to abletts and honestly I think ablett will have more votes stolen off him then barlow!!

Anyone knows how barlow polled in the VFL last year?

Another person having a career best year at freo is Mundy! He has been in great form for the purple haze!!!

Reckon he won the medal didn't he???

That he did.

I can't see anyone from St K wining it, as they have too many like players.
Goddard having his best season, but has plenty of competition.

Couldn't find a relevant thread for it, but...

Just got Hawthorn @ $20 for the Premiership. Don't think they can win it, but banking on them to continue improving and for me to eventually lay them to guarantee a profit.

For those that watched the Geelong v St Kilda game closely, who do you think will be likely Brownlow vote getters?

Could be an important match in the scheme of things relating to the Brownlow medal

3 votes - the saints player who jagged a few goals in only his 5th game or something, may have stood out to the umps in a low scoring game....

Jack Steven was it?

Gwilt apparently was superb on the J-Pod? Hard for defenders to get 3 votes though!

Good news for my Barlow bet, if Goddard,Montagna, Ablett and the likes dont poll in this game!

Into 5/1 now. I really rate his chance this year. Won't be laying off on this one.

Now out to 1000/1  was interesting watching the BetFair Browlow market react straight after the injury, all the LAYS were eaten up very quickly but TOP 5 was still available for $200 @ $8.00 - was thinking about taking it (although wasnt keen on tying up $1400 for 3 months) but was taken before I had a chance to decide.

Can Barlow get a place? If its a low count, 22 votes or so the winner, he is a chance. im hanging my hope that the umpires notice him early and he polls 6 BOGS in the first 13 rounds and a couple 2's. I think he will win it still  :(

Hopefully for you, they do, but he will have to defy history to win it - no winner has missed more than four matches in the season they win.

Terrible luck for him, and the punters also. Having said that, it surely opens Sandilands right up as the big chance from Freo.

Still think that Chris Judd's form couldn't be ignored this year.

This is why bookies love the Brownlow, one small incident like this and the cash is all theirs.

Hard to feel sorry for punters, esp those who took him at triple figure odds, cause they should have at least LAYed a little to get their original stake back.

Done your money cold on Barlow. He missed 1 match and will not poll from yesterday. 8 matches to go means he would miss 10 matches. CAN NOT FINISH TOP 5.
