5th Ashes Test - to win $50-

Postby Dutchy » Tue Jan 02, 2007 10:02 am

Alright going to do some trading again on this test, not as confident as Melbourne but still think the Draw WILL NOT HAPPEN!!!

Heres my plan to win $50-

1st Bet - Lay the Draw $3.60 - risking $195- to win $75-

Status
Aus $75-00
Eng $75-00
Draw $195-00

Now what I need is the draw to drift to $9-00 and BANG...invest $25- on the draw and Im Guaranteed a $50- collect.

Lets see how it pans out...

i think you are on the right track with the draw not happening, but the early rain delay could cause a couple of problems!!!!!!

even if it does rain for a day the aussies will probably win.

DUTCHY, are you looking forward to the world cup with all those games to trade on?

Rain doesnt bother me MT as these days they play extra overs/time to catch up and also have lights...BUT it does seem to effect the punters...the draw was $4 last night and $3.60 this morning due to the rain...Ill take that punt anyday...also fine weather is forecast for the week ahead

I havent thought about the world cup but yes that should be great, although games will be in the middle of the night and you really have to be up for the whole game to trade away...

good point about the extra time played to catch up on any lost time.

the aussies generally make runs quickly which always gives the game a chance of a result.

well get prepared for some long nights ahead!!!!!!!!!!!!

AUSTRALIA HAS WON 10 TESTS ON THE TROT
Backing a draw is like backing Carlton to beat West Coast in Perth
If you get results on Burdetts pitches.....

Teams have to bowl 450 overs a test
About 15 years ago they bowled about 400 overs a test
They are now THE EQUIVALENT of 5 and a half day test matches these days.

DRAW = poor bet
