obviously somethin is going wrong out at craigmore... coz i have heard news of yet another player, with the possibility of another on top of that, leavin craigmore and heading else where. rumours are to OTH following duck-man and others up there. not A graders, but nevertheless still numbers. everyone knows ya cant have a sucessful A grade for an extended period of time without having the solid foundations of a good B and C grade. so surely all these players walking from craigmore should be a concern, should they not Papas? the way you are talking on here it seems as if you are only bothered about the 11 who walk out onto the field to play As... whether you said it or not. to have depth you really need 15 players at least who are capable of playing A grade cricket to carry you through the season because of injuries, drops in form, and unavailability.

Papas, is there a reason these players are leaving? whether you care or not, is there a reason. this hasnt happened in the last couple of seasons for your club

They may have lost a few b + c graders but i know of atleast 5 possible A Grade cricketers who will be having a hit at Craigmore this year in various grades.

These new recruits are not possible A grade cricketers, they are A grade cricketers. CCC are making changes and will be much better from these changes.

AGM agenda has been released and 2 new teams are asking to join the competition in lower grades playing One Dayers only. Tea Tree Gully FC and Bangladesh Tigers Sports Club. Obviously TTGFC would be based at Stephenton Drive or Banksia Park area, but I have never heard of the Bangladeshi club. Any ideas?
TTGFC would be a fair trek.
With that... a slight deflection to the next topic!

Wow havent been on the forum for quite a while and was some pretty interesting reading. It seemed like CCC was the place to be then it wasnt and now apparently it is with an influx of A grade players, is there going to be a return of one B. Moore?. Should make for an intersting year in Div 2 and i heard a rumour that the Angle Vale cricket club will be looking pretty attractive from what i understand there are plans in the council for a total re-vamp of a site which will have a pretty impressive sporting complex built on it, ready made for footy and cricket with a Community Club type set up as clubrooms. Will be good to see and at a good time seeing as how quickly that area is expanding. AVCC could be a powerhouse in years to come

Heard this name mentioned at 2 other clubs as well as a possible return to his old stomping ground... Craigmore would have to be favourites with his connections/history at the club but will be interesting if/when he returns to PDCA (especially if its not at Craigmore)

I suspect he will have a look at CCC before anything else, but if he doesn't like what he sees there will be a rush to get his signature. My tip, if not CCC, somewhere close to home ;)

Heard 2 opening bowlers from salisbury Nth are going to Virginia. Both are getting older but still can be important in Div 1 as Salisbury North future is uncertain.
