They kicked with a 6 goal breeze in the first quarter, played well into it in the second quarter, went back to the old North in the thrid quarter and missed a number of gimme goals and then played a fair last quarter into the breeze which was still probably a 3 to 4 goal breeze.

What difference to the margin - if not the result - would one J. Clayton have made?

J Clayton is a very good player but he would had to have been a miracle worker to have made much difference to Port on Saturday. He could have got the ball and hit a player on the chest, but the way Port played on Saturday it would have bounced off the recipient's chest anyway. Without trying to sink the slipper too much Port were abysmal. As a few Port supporters have said the scoreboard flattered them with a couple of junk time goals and North as usual missing some easy shots.

The game really looked like sixth or seventh playing eighth or ninth, which in reality is what the game was.

Well you have been kind ranking north at 6! We still look miles off it yet the media and a few of our own "never say die one eyed unrealistic suppporters" think we have a shot at the finals!
