port pirie,

r1 4 should win on its debut run while for multis 1,2,5,9
r2 chances 2,4,5,6,11 main two5,11 the 11 was a huge run last sat
r3 chances 1,4,5,7,10 if 10 is backed 'off the map' get on
r4 the kadina cup chances 2,3,8,9,10
r5 top three 1,2,9 the 2 is the best horse but is first up as is 1 while all bar 6,7 can be placed
r6 chances 7,8 with 9 next best but watch the market on 2 that is a big?
r7 7 on top from 1,2,4,5(who is in the st leger on sat) & watch market on 3
r8 these are shocking stay out, the only one i could back would be the first starter 6 as if it has any ability it'd win

suggested bet(s)
r1 no4 win
r2 no11 e/w
the betfair lay of the night
r4 no1

gdp sat,
r1 1,5,7 next best for multis 2,8,9,10 i'll again tip 7 on an e/w basis
r2 you'll get the f4 with 1,2,3,4,7 but i like 7 a place
r3 only winning chances 1,2,3,4 with rough place hopes to 6,7
r4 only two chances 9,11 & you'd think 11 would win
r5 4 a moral will find the front for multis 2,3,7
r6 4 will be fav but i like the locals 1,7 at the odds shown in the harness weekly @ $11 & $26 respectively next best 5,9
r7 9 should win from 1,5,6,10
r8 chances 1,3,7,8 with next best 4 who'll improve with the speed on here
r9 top two 1,2 while 5,6,7 can make up the multi
r10 chances 3,4,5,6,8 if 6 was the 20/1 i read in the weekly have a little on it e/w as it could & probably will lead

suggested bet(s)
r1 no7 e/w
r2 no7 place
r5 no4 win

betfair lay of the night
r8 no11 (the draw is too tough for it)
r10 no10 (ditto)

good luck on the punt

Port Pirie

Postby SCD » Fri Jan 05, 2007 5:11 pm

I understand the great tipster is on his way to Pirie now.. so lets hope Bayman comes back with lots of stories of money making..

R1 - 4 and 5 the on top picks from 1 and 2
R2 - 6 and 11 on top (agree with Bayman, 11 went super) place hopes to 1,2,5,8,10
R3 - 10 should win on form - place hopes to 1,4,5,7,9,11
R4 - 8,9,10 and 7 the only other hope (keen on 8 e/w)
R5 - Change of driver = 10 on top from 1,2,3,9,11
R6 - 2 looks well graded, C2 against C0 horses.. so 2,8 on top from 1,5,6,7
R7 - all except 6 and 8 can win
R8 - 1 almost a good thing, from 2,6,7,8

Suggested Bets
R2 - 11 e/w
R4 - 8 e/w
R5 - 10 e/w
R6 - 2 e/w

Betfair Specials
R1 - 2 (can't win but could place)
R2 - 4 (ANT)
R4 - 1 (Mare who's lost interest in racing)

was about to rip into you SCD, as R4 #1 WON & paid $4 something.
You redeemed yourself by declaring R5 #10.
You are in the death when it comes to giving out winners- bayman is in the lead, MT79 is 1 out, 1 back & Mal is in behind Bayman, waiting for the sprint lane!

Would have deserved it PR - not only have I said it can't win.. but it's cleared out by 40m... I was at the local and me and the bloke next to me just couldn't beleive it, neither of us liked it.. but it walked in.. I don't feel so bad because Bayman had it as his Betfair Lay of the night also... so at least I have the ability to put a little bit of pressure on the leader... don't want him to get to easy a time infront...

MALS INTERDOMURDERNION PREVIEW
----------------------------------------------
Just a preview BUT NO BETTING ON THEM just a guide
I refuse to bet on horses running 3 times in 8 days

RACE 2
1 WINFORU will lead or take sit be in the finish
2 ROBIN HOOD death or cross over be there
3 BE GOOD JOHNNY star horse hard to beat

RACE3
3 TRIBUTE big heat win, trainer said horse was sick and still won
4 TOE TAPER brilliant sit sprinter or leader if no pace on
2 SMOOTH CRUISA can improve on 6th wed nite

RACE4 TROTTERS
11 A TOUCH OF FLAIR best horse worst draw, wins any luck
9 GLEN BOGLE nz horse won twice in melb, only danger
4 JARRIOL something must run 3rd, might lead at some stage

RACE5
4 BLACKS A FAKE if fit will murder these, unbeatable if right, leader
2 REBA RAJAH will most likely hand up to the fav. good quinella chance
3 FOREAL now starting from barrier 6, galloped out monday

RACE7 TROTTERS
9 WHATSUNDERMYKILT is a swooper in melb, runs on hard top chance
4 MOTU MISS ANNA consistent in melb
5 VIVA LA FEVER consistent be thereabouts

Hope it helps, agree with Bayman basically
Most races are full of melb horses so no tips anywhere.

BEST BET
-----------

R5-4 BLACKS A FAKE despite 3 runs in 8 days, only needs to be 3/4 fit.

YOU ARE KIDDING ME
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
R9-3 JUST COURAGE ran 3rd PP friday night 5/1/07
The same horse is running in the SA ST LEDGER at GDP sat nite 6/1/07
Why would you run a horse the night before a prestigious $15k race :?: :?:
Im BAFFLED ](*,)

PR I am appropriately placed on the sprint or CHEAT lane

GLOBE DERBY

Postby SCD » Fri Jan 05, 2007 11:23 pm

Tough night, not sure who will be trying and who will be giving a quiet run....

R1 - 1,5,8 look classes above with 7 a sneaky place hope
R2 - 1 a moral for 2,3,4,7 and with luck maybe 5 and 8 to fill minor money
R3 - Think 1 can lead and be hard to beat.. it's the horse that needs to win to make the final, 3 and 4 don't.. so go with 1 e/w from 2,3,4,6,7,8
R4 - 9 and 11 the top two clearly from 4,5,8
R5 - 4 wins, 2 prob 2nd (maybe 3 - went super on Wednesday) and 7 for 3rd.. 9 is going good with no luck again...
R6 - think the 1 will hand up to 4.. so 1,4 as the top two from 6,7,11
R7 - 6 and 9 the top two clearly from 3,5,10
R8 - 1 and 7 quin a huge chance here.. place hopes to 2,4,8,9,11
R9 - 2 and 6 on top from 1 then maybe 5 and 7
R10 - 8 looks well graded.. take it from 4,5,6,9,10

Suggested Bets
R1 - 1,5,8 in exactas + tied up in tris
R2 - 1W
R3 - 1 e/w
R5 - Tris 4 - 2 - 37, 4 - 23 - 23, 4 - 23 - 2379
R8 - 1 + 7 quin
R10 - 8 e/w

Betfair bets
R2 - 3 can't cross or sit outside 1 and win

FOR MAL - Back R9 - 3 went like a cat at Pirie tonight, but it's just getting warm for tomorrow.

I can explain - it needs to start the night before to have any hope compared to those horses.. it would have been 250/1 if it didn't run tonight and would be 2500/1 after not getting warm in an R0 at PP.. it was an ordinary effort, behind a horse that got beaten at Whyalla last start.

SCD thanks for the explanation, but in future allow PUNK and MAL to
post the wise cracks !

its form
2467 before PP 3rd tonight
1st run galloped
2nd run broke
3rd run broke in score up
4th run checked locked wheels
Tonights excuse was getting the horse cherry ripe for tomorrow night

I reckon it might be one to follow in the weaker races
GDP tomorrow night would be a betfair lay .

an interesting night last night. i ventured down to the auditorium for the first time on a friday night in months..........

I went to see a PRO.

IM not sure if any of you have heard "Crackers' Keenan before on the radio before......... quite different to the mental image i had from his voice!!!!!!!! he would definately be a candidate for the biggest loser!!!!!!! ( he would put AG to shame) anyway he was in attendance with 3 other blokes, one of which had more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to wipe out the world debt!!!!!!!!!!

they seemed to be niggling eachother all night long, well I was gone at 8:30pm and can only assume it continued well after I was gone.

Crackers organised with Nancy to get 10cents better then the tote on Pirie trots and his loaded up mate wanted a piece of the action, but Crackers told him to organise his own deals!!!!!!!!!

those blokes spent a great part of the evening on the phone to people all over the country at the different tracks getting mail etc.............. from what i could gather some of the mail wasnt all that great.

when i left there was 7 people in attendance downstairs!!!!!!!!!!!

When the Lincoln races were on we had HAPPY HILTON giving us all a running commentary of the the races............ absolute tosser..................cant handle the drink......................apparently he was worse on wednesday night at the trots...........................

it would've been neil 'crackers' cracknell & your right he is very knowledgeable but is a desperate & has no control

ps,
i lost at pirie, i risked no1 in the last leg of the treble, which cost me but if the big scrimmage didn't occur i would have got it & possibly got it with the 3 which was paying over a grand :vom:
