Speaking of dud riders, can anyone with west coast connections confirm that Ty Fagg has or is, heaven forbid, getting his jockey licence back?

Does anyone remember at Harold Park roughly 15 years ago they gave this visiting French driver a start.Couldn't speak a word of English so was presumably briefed using hand gestures and Gallic shrugs.Threw absolutely everything at his horse and went to the post in front, beaming for the photo and pulling to the outside rail.Probably thought the ringing bell was to announce another triumph of the Tricolour over the Anglais.

The worst drive I have seen came from a country Vic gallop meeting of about the same era.A headon shot showed the trailling Ambulance completely missing the turn, going through the running rail and overturning in a ditch. They must of replayed it 10 times and each time I swear I nearly died laughing.

A Ruggari on Lenny Bromac just took the cake.. don't want to follow the $2.70 2nd favourite.. 3 wide to the breeze for the last 2 laps.... no sorry - hands up the breeze with 700m to go and then pulls 3 wide 100m later.. shocking drive... but should expect nothing less from a NSW driver, they are all a joke there..
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined
