yea but that's when the bloke rose from the dead (Easter Sunday) when we celebrate, Easter Friday the day he died is definitely not celebrated by those with religious beliefs.

I am sure the fact that Good Friday is a public holiday is celebrated by non religious people, just like the other holidays connected to religion ie christmas etc

Snaggletooth- Ramadan may have meant to be for fasting/nondrinking but much like Good Friday I still eat meat and drink plenty of booze.

Australia Day means nothing to me, except for as mentioned by some the JJJ Top 100 which isn't what it used to be.

Good Friday means even less, can't believe in this backward state that there's no footy on. Sometimes have a BBQ just to spite any religious people in the neighbourhood.

Australia Day signals the end of School Holidays to kids so they're all starting to despise it, smart moves by the powers that be turning the kids off it.

But having said that, I'll take a day off for any reason and don't care what its for. Not happy that Australia Day is falling on a Friday as thats a 6 hour day for me, it should be Monday every year so I can claim 8 hours for it.

Mate, the most antisocial thing you can eat on Good Friday - whilst developing good hard fat-clogged arteries - is a bacon double cheeseburger. Apparently the ingredients of this little heart-attack inducing wonder means that 75% of the world's population cannot eat one on Good Friday.
