If you were the coach of your side, what would you be thinking about where your club is situated at the moment (on field)?
Perfectly
What is your team doing well, and where does it further improvement on field?
Just more game time into returning players. Skills need to improve but this should happen as a matter of course as it tends to.
Who is missing (injured/form) and who is out of form?
Schell, Sansbury and Havelberg. All had interrupted seasons and just need game time.
Who is a continuous improver this year, and who is on fire?
Lee Spurr and Lee Spurr. Should get onto an AFL list somewhere with them all looking at mature players in the next couple of seasons.
How are your new players going this year – juniors coming through to league ranks and new recruits?
Slotted in nicely. Boyd looks a beauty, Habel and Reichert don't look out of place one little bit.
How is your game style panning out? Is your team too unaccountable, prone to congestion, or do you otherwise need a new approach?
Not a problem at all.
What’s your club’s biggest strength and weakness?
Depth and versatility have been a long time strength and remains. I think we're still the toughest side going around. Weakness is rucks obviously, but key forwards as well. Looked brilliant early but we've hardly had the same forward line 2 games in a row. Fingers crossed finals time that is a different story. Both not major weaknesses though.
Lastly, no coach wouldn't be worried about this question, but nonetheless, who is firming to win your club’s best and fairest, who’s firming as the leading goalkicking and who is your club’s best chance(s) for the Magarey Medal?
B&F Lee Spurr, Callinan close, leading goalkicker could be any of a dozen this year and only Magarey chance Ian Callinan, but he'll need a ripper month.
