Media Park has just written his most honest and heartfelt post ever, on the "things that aren't fair" thread. And it makes him feel good to get it out there.

Fisho is excited about Mr McSpaz playing his first game after the dislocated elbow... but really hopes that nothing else bad happens to him. In the last three years he's done some pretty spectacular stuff to himself and they've all been different injuries. Only thing left is the knee I reckon. :(

A Mum can't believed what she witnessed at local footy today

Never seen it happen before ever !!

B Grade - Mt Compass v Willunga.
Start of the 4th Quarter - Willunga up by a couple of goals.

A few minutes into the quarter - the umpire starts yelling at both teams to line up in the middle.
No one knew what was going on - then a supporter yelled out,
"They're calling for a count"
The umpires counted and Willunga had 19 men on the field

Player sent off, Willunga score wiped back to zero

I hate that!
One of my first games of B's, we were looking like playing finals, and after one of our players ran off bleeding, I replaced him on the field, only to run pretty much straight back off- he'd actually been sent off, and I was the extra player!
Score got wiped, didn't win another game that year, finals didn't happen!

I've seen it happen - Aldinga v Reynella in the A grade, 2007. Aldinga were leading in the second quarter when the Reynella timekeeper suddenly barked at me, 'They've got nineteen men on the ground!' I had no idea what he was on about but next thing everyone was lining up - sure enough, we had nineteen. Score was wiped.

this happened to us in our undefeated under 17's side back in 2004
we were up by a few goals and half way through the third quarter they called a count
we had 19 on the field, coach had stuffed up.
we were left with just over a quarter to kick 9.5 or something like that. we kept the other side scoreless and kicked the score we needed to to win. was a huge win for us, cause we were only 2 goals up before ouir score was wipped.
get on board the thunder train!!!
