Don't insult first class cricket by even mentioning it in a thread about 20/20

SA 9/150
NS after 18 overs were 8/135
Cullen bowling 3 runs off first 5 balls = 9/138...7 balls 13 needed

In comes celebrity Andrew Johns the superstar Rugby god.
Was it a marketing ploy, if so why not.
If NSW were trying to win a bad move.
Last ball of the 19th over Cullen bowls to Johns a stumping appeal
which the umpire generously denies.

9/138 Ryan Harris with figures 3 overs 1/5 to bowl the final over
NSW captain[tries to captain] Katich is 21 not out on strike.
1ST BALL KATICH DECLINES A SINGLE
2ND BALL PLAYS AND MISSES
3RD BALL HITS TO LONG ON AND DECLINES THE SINGLE....crowd is booing
4TH BALL HITS TO BACKWARD SQUARE LEG DECLINES THE SINGLE
5TH BALL HITS TO SQUARE LEG DECLINES THE SINGLE
6TH BALL KATICH HITS A FOUR

NSW 9/142 what the f..k is going on.
If Katich wants to win why play Johns :?:
When the game is a mathematical impossibilty why not take the single 5th ball :?:
when 12 runs are required off the final ball.
No wonder the crowd is booing after the 3rd ball.

Oh well SA win.
But still baffled as to why Skewes bats 6, Lehmann bats 7
I know we won but we only got 150.
As for NSW I agree with earlier posts how could you leave out Hauritz
a guy who needs many wickets for a WI tour...a 0/40 means no change
but if Nath takes 4/25 ......

I think 20/20 is a great spectators sport.
