gdp, i haven't done my markets as yet but this is what i think

r1 5 top pick from 1,2 with a watch on 7
r2 1,2,5,6,7,8 i would think 2 will be scratched
r3 7 should win but i know 3 is working well at weigall oval
r4 2,3,5,7 (watch),8,10,11
r5 10 top pick 3,4,5,9
r6 too many vic horses to line up but i'll be on 2 e/way as she surely cant end up being 3 or 4 wide from the pole (1 is scratched)
r7 5,6,7,8
r8 3,6,7,8
r9 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 all have chances while the rest have no hope

good luck on the punt

suggested bet(s)
r6 no2 e/w
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

R1 - 3 and 7 on top (5 has no gate speed.. so??) with 1,2 a place hope and 5 of course
R2 - 2,5,7,8 the only winning hopes and 1 can run a place...
R3 - 7 is a moral - take the field for 2nd and 3rd
R4 - 8,11 on top from 3,4,5,7,10
R5 - 2, 9 and 10 on top place hopes to 1,4,5,7
R6 - very even race - i personally will be backing G Sugars e/w on the 6 but very even race... anything can win
R7 - 7 and 8 on top with place hopes to 2,3,6
R8 - 3 and 7 on top - place hopes to 1,4,8,9
R9 - Lottery race - take 3,5,6,7,9,11 in multis

Suggested Bets
R3 - 7 w
R4 - 11 e/w
R5 - 9 e/w

Betfair Specials
R1 - 5 (no gate speed + disappointing last start = struggle @ 1800m)
R6 - 11 (great form but ODM and junior driver.. will be under the odds)

Hey wait up - I wasn't far off the mark.. I said 3 and 7 on top and 1,2,5 as place hopes (the 7 paid $4) and I said the 5 couldn't win.. well it didn't!!
If you laid the 5.. you could have made money - it couldn't win over 1800m with it's lack of gate speed (mind you I have only seen the result not the race)
I have done the smart thing and and moved to Melbourne after some eggs were thrown at my house after a poor display of tipping one night..

The 5 only just got rundown by the 7.
The 1 matched the 3 with gate speed, held it out (3 in the death), the 4 moved up into the death (giving the 3 cover), & the 3 went backwards from there.
It wasn't me- I don't use eggs, I tend to use a tin of petrol & matches...!

I think this one is the best bet of the day AG - got knocked over and still won last week.. it's all good to lay the shorties, but make sure they are the right ones..

Not sure re the quin (don't know much about the rest but they will have to be very good to beat the 7)
