I agree.

I found it quite challenging to select a quality team.

That's what makes it fun though. You can't just do a Chelski/Citeh and buy every star in the world. You have to work hard and look for diamonds in the rough.

i managed to get lampard, gerrard and van persie in my team hard work but il prob change it again

1st and runner up 2 seasons in a row aint bad Bulldog :)

Multiple Scorgasms to take out the league i think!
2020 AFL Premiers: Richmond 12.9.81 def Geelong 7.8.50
2019 AFL Premiers: Richmond 17.12.114 def Greater Western Sydney 3.7.25
2017 AFL Premiers: Adelaide 8.12.60 def by Richmond 16.12.108
2012 D5 Premiers: Brahma Lodge 24.15.159 def Hope Valley 7.13.55

I'm back in although, after Woodville Wanderers' title defence only resulted in a Europa League spot, I have been bought out by an Arab consortium - hence the arrival of Abu Dhabi County.

FC Porco back again, looking to improve on the dismal effort of the 2009/2010 campaign after finishing 4th in their promoted season...

Current Line Up as at 30/7/10 (obviously will change once i've done a bit of research...)

Sorensen
Dawson Shawcross Figueroa
Lampard (c) Fabs Bale Etherington
RVP Bent Rodallega

Bench Robinson (GK), Ferguson (Mid), Givet (Def), Foley (Def)

happy with the mids and relatively happy with fwds and gks... the defense this year is where i went a bit shorter... no big names in there really, all pretty cheap..

like i said, it will change... how much i don't know...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

I just met up with a bunch of poms and did a aproper fantasy leagu where you sit around and bid for players.
It was brilliant. Loads of banter and laughs. Plenty of pints and at the end of the night, I got vidic for free when eveyone else had filled their teams!!

Honestly, I know it's tough to arrange, but we should try to get a sa footy divvy setup next season and all meet up and try to outbid each other for ledley king!! Hahahaha.

Bloody good night it was.

LOL, I did one a few years ago, met up at the British, and did it there. Very drunk, and I paid way too much for some Derby hacks

Dunno about Robbie Keane this year.
If we can;t buy a decent striker prior to the start of the season, he may feature.
If we can manage to buy Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Keano will be out on his ear.

Our starting strikeforce is likely to be Crouch/Defoe or Pavlyuckenko/Defoe.

So if you're looking to buy Keano in a fantasy leage, I say dont! (unless it's the SA Footy comp, where I'll say DO IT!)
