What is turfwars?

Centrebet mate, it's a free comp where you get $50e/w to put on a horse per race, and $100e/w on 1 horse/race (almost like playing your Joker).

The $ side of things is all play money (no real investment needs to be made), but is used in conjunction with Divs to tally a score for each competitor by the end of the meet.

You get free bet prizes for finishing in the Top 50, with the value of the freebie being greater the higher you finish.

They select the meets they run it for, previously in Spring they have all been NSW meets I think .. Go and register and have a crack, it's good fun and it can often help you unearth a value runner that you follow through the spring.

I think they did some of the big melbourne meets but that could be my imagination, but the majority certainly were sydney
