What's going on down at WOS?? No food for sale after the B grade game! Then to top it off I asked for an Extra Dry and you didn't have any of those either. I was rather looking forward to having a pie and a Extra dry on your world famous 2 x 4 metre decking outside! ;)

Have to apologise for the lack of food. Normal guys on Barbie duties played B's and C's, creating a hole in planning and a lack of communication meant no-one else was organised. I thought about pulling out of the A grade game to do it, but there'll be plenty of time to man the Barbie when I retire.

Not gonna apologise for the lack of TED's though. Ha ha.

their results and the fact they wont play finals must be of concern with so many people picking them in their top 5

They did Loose Bourke, was a very good player for them last year and changes the make up of the side completely, kicks 3-4 goals a game, that would have won them 4/5 games this year at least!

The thing I notice about Fitzroy is there bigger, older bodies. An injection of youth and pace wouldn't hurt them one bit and neither would a hard pre-season. I think they seriously lack pace, youth and agility and the better sides in the division have a bit of each of these things....

Last Season's Div 5 premier has been a disappointment......A couple of players missing this year and a bad run of injuries has exposed the severe lack of depth within the club and no one from the 2's has wanted to step up placing it in the too hard basket dropping the 3's hasn't helped either.

A recruiting drive is severely needed as their current CHF is not guaranteed to continue next season and with the other side at the wrong end of the table they could seriously find themselves in a 2007 situation sooner rather than later.

Disappointing season '10 down at the Roys for sure with not living up to expectations as none of the 3 sides featuring in finals the off season will start from this saturday evening. Agree loosing Bourke hurts (as he has Glenunga sitting top in Div 7). Most of the Roys losses have been close with the exception of the belting from Golden Grove but at the end of the day as loss is a loss & the planning for season '11 now begins...
Good luck to finals bound teams.
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Someone from Fitzroy told me on Saturday that the club had asked him to stop playing himself in the A Grade while he coaching, I was wondering why he played twos on the weekend. Not sure if it's related to whether he's staying or not.

We're quietly confident mate, but we know it's not going to be the same side we played in Round 9, you guys were missing some handy names that day (Schellehn, Goldsmith, Sansbury, Fitzgerald).

But we're going out to win the game, would much rather play at home than next week than head down south to Unley or WOS, as I'm sure you'd rather play at home than at Harpers.

Make sure you pop in for a beer after the game, I'll buy ya one after I pull myself out of the ice bath.
