GAWLER FRIDAY 12/1/07 & GDP 13/1/07

Postby bayman » Thu Jan 11, 2007 1:10 pm

GAWLER,
r1 chances 3,5,6,7,10 top two 3,10 i've sacked the 2 after mondays effort
r2 looks a good t'f race 3 to win from 2 with 6,7,8,10(poor drive last week)
r3 3,7 to win (7 the plunge horse from monday) from 1,4,9,10
r4 main chances 6,7,8,9 with rough place hopes to 1,3,4
r5 chances 3,4,5,7 i like 3 e/w will lead
r6 on last weeks effort 5 on top from 1,2,4,7
r7 chances to 1,4,7,11
r8 main two 2,5 (i think 2) from 9,10 with a rough hope at big odds to 8
r9 1,7 to fight it out from 6,8,9 & a rough place hope to 10

betfair lays
r4 no 10 (up in class & poor draw)
r5 no 1 (was very lucky to run a place at victor, it only did because mals girlfriend gina bells' horse galloped on the home turn)
r6 no 6 (can not win from this draw)
r7 no 5 (looked & raced like a tired horse last monday, if it was mine it'd be in the paddock)
suggested bet(s)
r2 i'd do the trifecta etc i've put up
r3 no 3 e/w (should lead this, it almost led at vh)
r5 no 3 e/w (likely leader & go close)
r9 no 1 e/w ( broke 2 minutes in a soft win last week, it will get a great trip in this)

GLOBE DERBY PARK,
r1 well basically the entire front row will try & lead & thats why i like 8 e/w from that front row 1,2,3,4,5
r2 numerous chances 1,2,3,4,7,9
r3 10 on top & should win (interesting drive last week :? :? ) from 1,2,7,8
r4 1 should lead & win with 7 on its back to run 2nd with 2,4,5,6,9 for 3rd & 4th
r5 13 should win from 10 (very good fixed odds place only bet @ $1.60), while 1,3,4,5,7,12 should fill up the multi spots
r6 top two 6,8 from 1,2,4,7,10
r7 you should get the f4 with these numbers 1,2,4,8,9,10. i'll be mastering 1 to win or run 2nd, 3rd & 4th with the others that'll cost $60.00 for a 25 cent unit
r8 7 e/w (with a former bay player driving it) from 1,2,3,4,8,11
r9 top two 2,8 while all bar 1 can run a hole
r10 chances 1,3,4,5,11,12 i think 3 may be a good place bet at odds

betfair lays
r1 no 10
r8 no 10 ( last weeks scrimmage helped it immensely)

suggested bet(s)
allup
r4 no 1 win
r5 no 10 place

& off course the multis suggested earlier
good luck on the punt
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

GAWLER FRIDAY 12/1/06

Postby SCD » Thu Jan 11, 2007 8:51 pm

Good luck here - as Bayman and I always say - dynamite fence track..

R1 - 3 and 9 on top (esp the 9 - even despite the draw) with place hopes to 1,2,5,6,10
R2 - 2 and 3 should run the quin (i'm not as keen as Bayman on the 3 to win though) 1,7,8 to run a place
R3 - 3 and 9 on top from 1,2,4,7,10 (i'd personally risk the 7 - big betting stable if they are trying..)
R4 - 7 and 8 on top from 1,2,9,10 (2 should lead)
R5 - Totally disagree with bayman - 1 is a leader only and should hold out the 3 early and be the one to beat.. so 1 and 7 on top from 3,8,9,10
R6 - 5 goes back= 5 wins.. if he goes forward.. not for me.. so 1, 5 and 6 (class horse of field) on top from 2,7
R7 - 1,4,6,7,11 (hard race)
R8 - 1 and 2 on top (quin hopes here - but 1 will lead) and place hopes to 5,8,9,10 (8 is going good and a good place hope)
R9 - 1 and 7 - 2 then 8,9

Suggested Bets
R1 - 9 e/w
R2 - 2+3 quin
R8 - 1+2 quin
R9 - 1+7 quin

Betfair bets
R5 - 3 (can't win with a different driver)

Good night tipping for SCD - 3 of the 4 suggested bets getting the cash

R1 - 9 $2.20 (tipped the quin with 3 running 2nd)
R2 - Quin paid $2.10
R9 - Quin paid $2.90
and the 3 in race 5 not anywhere near them.. so got that one right as well..

Come on Mal - the $2.20, $2.10 and $2.90 is a good effort - I know you were two from two, but at $1.70 and $1.40..

GLOBE 13/1/07

Postby SCD » Fri Jan 12, 2007 11:25 pm

What a great night racing = not many good betting races, but great to watch and see - I'm going to try and narrow the races right down though..

R1 - 4 and 9 clearly on top with good place hopes to 1,2,3,10 (8 is up in grade and not for me = sorry Bayman)
R2 - 5 and 9 on top (2230m suits the 5) place hopes to 1,3,7,11
R3 - 10 and 11 on top with good place hopes to 1,2,7,9
R4 - 1 on top 7 the only danger and place hopes to 4,5,9
R5 - 4 can lead and be the big danger to 13.. then 10,12 and not too many other place hopes really
R6 - 3,8 and 9 on top with place hopes to 1,6,7,10
R7 - I really like 2 and 8 with place hopes to 1,4,5,10
R8 - My horse is running.. I can't tip on this race... I just hope she goes good and can sneak a place...
R9 - 2 the best bet from 1,3,7,8
R10 - 4 and 11 on top with place hopes to 1,8,12,13

Suggested Bets
R3 - 11 e/w
R4 - 1+7 in multis
R5 - 4 place (maybe a couple of $$ the win - if it can lead)
R7 - 8 w
R9 - 2 w

Betfair Specials
R1 -3 (2 x met number 4 and hasn't beaten it.. can't this time either..)
R5 - 10 (the stable mate is rated higher by the stable.. can't beat A Touch of Flair)
R7 - 9 (Just won't get around the tight track - can't beat Blacks a Fake)
R8 - 10 (see Baymans post = very lucky last week)

Enjoy the night and i'll be watching from the lounge room cheering on Blacks a Fake and my horse...

it wasnt too long ago but there was a horse who raced twice in one night and i think it was at geelong. it raced in a pacers race and then buttered up in a trotters race on the same night.

My new years resolution is to tip a winner that pays over $2 at the trots
Actually BAYMAN is the brains trust and I cheat of him in my assessments.

I just backed the winner of the inter trot on supertab a fluke paid $61 supertab
can not brag about it however as i didnt declare it.
