i think coops is more suited to half back than in the centre he is very good defensively but not so in attack

i think your number 1 across the half back flank would be a shoe in for my team.underated and goes under the radar but sets so much of your play up through the corridor.i think his name might be nichols

I also reckon after the year the ranga from the hawks.. BIRCH is it he wqould be awfully unlucky...IMO ;)

He has done a gr8 job at the hawks.IMO he should be called SUPERCOACH!!!!!!! ;)

One thing though, guys should only be selected in a position if they ACTUALLY play the MAJORITY of their football in THAT position...Just a thought

i know what your saying bionic..but..which FF misses out?..you got stubberfield, osborn, mickan and dalby..only one can play in the team using that thinking..but the other 3 all deserve a spot because they are in the best 22 in division 6..thats what its about imo..the best 22 players placed as well as they can to the roles they usually play in..its not AFL where we all know everything about everybody..some artistic license has to be given.. :)

If Kane Stewart had stayed fit all year he'd be right in the mix and add to the dilemma!
There is one Hawk who is unlucky to not be mentioned yet, probably be our B + F this year.

probably not the best team but the team i would like to put on the park

forwards stubberfield(wc) mickan(l) spurr(tos)
half forwards burch(wc) bryant(WC) weekley(MP)
centres nicholls(wc) corbett(L) williams(L)
half backs lawrence(L) voyzey(L) francis(WC)
backs hawksworth(IF) phillips(WC) corey(CLG)

rucks vessali(WC) cooper(WC) visser(CLG)

int salisbury(K) dalby(CLG) hall(L) loffler(WC)

coach matt mcpherson
ass coach mark naley
captain stubberfield

have gone for a different kind of team and my x factor is loffler who i think is the heart and soul of wc,like having another coach on the ground
know stubby is not the captain of wc but he is my type of leader

I think you need to combine positions and best players, just divide the ground into thirds and choose your best defenders, best forwards and best midfield/wing/rucks.

So basically i think he has done a pretty good job with his squad and would say it is fairly accurate.

all good mate..gets us talking..

How can you leave out Liam Davis?? I know he is a Houghton boy and people may think iam biased but he has kicked 68 goals this year, and has played in ruck on on ball. One of the best if not the best contested mark in Div 6. Very stiff to miss out IMO. I agree with you about loffler and the other WC selections, they have turned that club into a force. Very impressive......

must admit i was torn between him and bryant.i like bryant for he gives a good contest, wins his own ball at ground level plus has the intimadating factor that are a must in my teams.nearly replaced dalby with him as my forward on the interchange but that would have been another tall.very good player is davis but doesnt get the recognition he deseves but i must admit have only watched houghton a few times this year and they have been disappointing in them games.probably missed out because thats all i saw.
