Solid win for Greenies out on the wide open spaces of the Ponderosa yesterday.

Good hard footy most of the day but the win may have come at a cost with some key players finding the pine in the second half....

Looking forward to our clash with the Grovers next Saturday at a venue yet to be confirmed by Choccies but the smart money would be on Harpers Field....

Those injuries don't matter Turk,just an oval with goal posts at either end will do ,with Greenies form over the last 9 rounds 8 wins and 1 loss it should have a few teams worried

We actually do that quite a bit mate when we're playing away on the Saturday, no doubt we'll do it again this week.

Klaggy not sure about that, we had plenty of the footy in the first half but burnt ourselves in front of goal..Salisbury on the other hand kicked 6 or 7 straight before they missed one, it was scoreboard pressure, as I felt we were winning and controlling most of the footy.

Agree with Choccies...congrats to all teams that made finals..and it is close amongst that group one bad quarter of footy could see the season end for any one of them... not that I want to see Pooraka or the Grovers play 2 or 3 bad quarters

haha no gag turk my friend. It's up at Harpers memorial swimming centre I believe. Hopefully we get a few dry days this week to let some of the water wash away after the weekend and harden the deck up a bit....

The A grade coach of woodville south Daimon Head announced on Saturday to the playing group that he wouldn't be continuing on. Its been a hard year for the club and Damo but it's credit to both him and the playing group due to the fact they have put up a battle all year and never gave up. Have heard a rumour about a new coach already though. Here's hoping for a better 2011 and hopefully some new clubrooms. As for the B grade let's hope they get a few wins in the finals and give it a red hot dip.
