the answer is to have the best possible team on the park from the start of the game! this continued persistance with the likes of carl veart and ross aloisi is becoming laughable. there is clearly favouritism from the coaching staff with these two players

Very true.
The two games I've been to this season have seen some heavy critiscism off that pair in the stands.
And in the Melbourne Victory debacle it was well justified. Veart was terribnle that night.
